It's not necessary to dump technology to be green. Al Gore buys enough energy from renewable energy sources such as solar, wind and methane gas to balance 100 percent of his electricity costs.

The issue about global warming is that C02 is being pumped into the atmosphere faster than it is being removed. A moderate approach is what should be employed, instead of bringing ourselves back to the stone age, which is way too extreme.

We dont need to go back to 1800s use of power. We can go back to 1950s and things will be much better since there were no IPODs, laptops and cell phones.
