what up with the Japanese and nudity? they have it on tv, in commercials, on game shows, and everywhere. its mind buggling! what is 'run off the mill' for the Japanese, will be considered a crime in the uk.

when i say 'nudity and sexually explicit stuff', i mean it.
can someone who understands, explain the japanese fixation on nudity? the west is wild, but not that wild.

I ran to the store for smokes and the song came on while I was stuck in line--heard it a thousand times before and never thought about it, but doesn't it sound like Mom snapped and killed Dad? Why wouldn't he be in a cemetary with a proper headstone?

Sister cries out from her baby bed
Brother runs in feathers on his head
Momma's in her room learning how to sew
Daddy's drinking beer, listening to the radio
Hank Williams sings "Kaw Liga" and "Dear John"
And time marches on, time marches on
Sister's using rouge and clear complexion soap
Brother's wearing beads and he smokes alot of dope
Momma is depressed, barely makes a sound
Daddy's got a girlfriend in another town
Bob Dylan sings "Like a Rolling Stone"
And time marches on, time marches on

My bf just decided to book us a small vacation as a surprise to go to the beach and casinos for a few days. The trip is in 5 weeks! He wants to go swimming and bought me a bikini! I have serious weight and body issues, but I want to go and enjoy myself. I know that realistically I wont be able to lose ALL the weight I'd like to before that, but is there any good ideas for losins some weight and toning and firming up so I at least look alright(I may not be as thin as I want but I wont be embarassed either)?? Any advice will really help and I'm really willing to make diet changes and exercise more. Thank you so much!!!!!

I'm fifteen, 5'1", and weigh about 88 pounds. For health reasons, I'm supposed to gain weight, but doing so is difficult because I don't want to get "big," if you know what I mean. Today, my mom's making pancakes in a few hours, so she told me to have a light breakfast. I wasn't hungry but knew that I should probably eat something. She wouldn't let me drink just a glass of milk because she wants me to gain some pounds, so I ate a banana. The banana was black on the peel in some places and it felt pretty soft. Later, though, I felt bad because I could've eaten a rice cake for only 50 cals instead of the 100 and something cals in the banana. I didn't even drink milk with the banana because I felt guilty. But, again, I could have eaten the rice cake without any milk and have had less cals. I don't know if what I did was right or wrong...I'm thinking the banana had more nutrients, but don't really know since it might have been overripe.

I think they go way over board on this. Yes we the public want information. And we go and get it. But, with the total disregard to the families involved the media goes way to far in my oppinion. I know if my child persay was killed in an accident I would not want to relive it everyday for a week. I am sorry if my feeling is wrong. But this is what I think.

Why do many people support abortion, 40+million since Roe VS Wade passed,
http://www.nrlc.org/abortion/aboramt.html, and oppose the death penalty of a murderous sadistic killer? 1069 since about the same time Roe/Wade passed.
http://www.clarkprosecutor.org/html/death/usexecute.htm

The numbers speak for themselves.
The reasoning does not.
You libs out there that believe the above CANNOT prove that all of the abortions performed in this country are due to rape or incest. http://www.abortionno.org/Resources/fastfacts.html
Especially read the part about "why women have abortions".
1% because of rape, 6% because of incest 93% because the child is unwanted or "inconvenient"

Yet somebody like Wayne Williams sits in prison on our dime and for what purpose?

That's about as sick and morally twisted as it can get.

one of friends came over yesterday to bake a cake with me for another friends birthday. since its after, we still have easter candy in our baskets- on the table and one on the counter. we also have a few unopened bags of candy on the table. so, my friend decides to help herself to this candy. i thought this was kind of rude considering she didnt ask... it could have been the basket belonging to my sister! i also noticed her reach for the unopened bag, but then let go when she realized it wasnt open. i didnt say anything, but later she went for it again when my mom was around. my mom said she could open it. do you think this was rude? or is it just me? i mean, if i went to a friends house, i would ask to have some of their food, incase it was their siblings, or maybe even something they were going to give away!

I read many answers here where people actually take the position that they know what god thinks and wants of everyone.

Wow. You actually think you possess that knowledge? You actually know what god wants of everyone and what god thinks?

What kind of an ego does this require? A hugely overinflated one? I mean WOW! What kind of CHAIR do you sit in??

What's REALLY unusual, even funny at times, is people making that SAME CLAIM (I know god, I know what god wants of people, and I know god's thoughts...) -- they disagree with each other. They read the SAME BOOK that they claim gives them this "'insight" -- but they have such different interpretations of it, they all disagree with each other. LOL!

Meanwhile, judging everyone around them!

Are people really this incredibly self-centered and self-important??

My girl needs to text this guy (who I don't like) to find out information about a job she applied to. Well she deletes her texts and calls, and sleeps by her phone and whenever it rings or beeps she flies up.

Last night she left her phone away from her and he texted her, for the first time in months. I was going to try and act like her but she got up, screaming and yelling to not to text him or she'd never talk to me again. She said she has no control over him texting her. He did say he hadn't heard from her in a while in the text

Is she hiding something?

I have been told it is arrogant of me to state emphatically that my future in eternity is with GOD as many years ago I made my decision to trust HIS SON JESUS as my SAVIOR and redeemer. I think it is blessed assurance in the word of GOD through HIS promise of salvation that those who believe and accept JESUS as LORD and SAVIOR will have eternal life with HIM in HIS kingdom HEAVEN. What do you think?
