I think that you are talking about the debate between many Christians: "once saved, always saved."
If a person asks Christ into their heart and then, is baptized and receives the Holy Spirit, an.
then, they try and live a righteous life.
They should have some blessed assurance that Eternal life will be their's, if they continue striving (in all things) to do God's will.
But, if they turn away from God, if they do not seek to do his will, they will not inherit the kingdom of Heaven.
This is quoted many times in the NT.
Acts, Corinthians, Galatians, etc.
And, even if we are doing God's will, we should never take such a blessing for granted, so always strive to be better Christians, so to not lose favor with God.
This striving does not necessarily mean "do great deeds," it means to have a pure heart and act in faith.
Hope this helps.

Well its blessed insurance for sure, look I'm not out to burst your bubble, but don't you think god may just dislikes us as to the fact you MUST surrender to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. So with out the equal understanding of Lucifer and why he and so many angles left the Kingdom is saying is that promise all good. Hey people don't flee their homeland unless they have a reason and justifying there departure because he could not have the throne is non since, It had to be that they were being oppressed or used as slaves.Just something to think about!!

I think you could be a little more modest, but it still is blessed assurance, unless you don't have the holy spirit ( look it up in John chapter 3 in the bible starting at verse 16 if you need more info. Ohterwise, consult with Jesus.) Ithink I have Blessed asssurance too, because I am soooooo going with JESUS in the rapture.

Arrogant, pray for humility. None of us knows what the future holds and you may fail a test of God yet. Not all of your choices in life will be easy and salvation takes effort to maintain--I will pray for you, God bless!

"Stating emphatically" is where you cross the line from blessed assurance to arrogance.

I think - why are Christians so concerned with death? Why is it they just can't wait to die?
And then I think - Why do people have to constantly over capitalize things? And then I think - I don't really care where you go, as long as I don't have to be there with you.

i think you're a victim of brainwashing within a cult.
and i think you use this forum as an opportunity NOT to ask questions, but to preach and proselytize your cult beliefs.
