Yes. I think so. There are so many I wanted to do, but was too shy to try doing. I want to be reincarnated as a sexually irresistable heterosexual man (you have to be specific about these things). Then I won't be too shy to do someone I truly want to do!

yes yes and yes. still struggle with it regularly. try to change but even when I overcome it and have successful results, it comes back and there I am shaking and nervous like the first day of school.... it's not going away, so now I try to embrace it as positive proof that I haven't lost all my innocence or humility, rather than viewing it as a negative by-product of shaky self confidence. Maybe it's our inner (and ignored) child taking a stand and trying to be heard.....what I have learned from it:
-it dosen't have to control me every time
-it isen't necessarily a bad reaction or trait to have
-it is easier to live with if I view it positively
-shyness is more attractive than cynicism
-most people miss the loss of it in certain instances
-just cause you are shy or are prone to shyness, dosen't mean you are passive, naive or antisocial.

Shyness always prevents me from doing what I need to do or want to do. It has had devastating consequences for both my personal life and my professional life.

Yes, in High School, shyness kept me from going to state in Band. I was good enough, just too shy.*

At times yes, I'm still learning that being shy is not going to get you that far or going to pay the bills so just trying to brush it aside
