Help. I've used windows xp for years and next week I have to work on an apple mac with no training - can I do it? The job agency say it will be easy-peasy and I will pick it up straight away. Any experienced Mac people out there?

Joe and Wanda had a small apartment in the city. They decided that the only way to pull off a Sunday afternoon quickie, with their ten-year-old son around, was to get him to report on neighborhood activities from the balcony. They thought that spying would happily distract him for an hour or so.
The boy began his commentary as his parents put their plan into operation.

"There's a car being towed from the parking lot," he said. Then, "An ambulance just drove by."

A few more moments passed and he called, "Looks like the Andersons have company." And then, "Matt's riding a new bike… and the Coopers are screwing."

Mom and dad shot up in bed. "How do you know that?" the startled father asked.

"Their kid is standing out on the balcony too," his son replied.

I need a part for my Daewoo nexia (97 1.4) but I dont know the name. Its a short rubber hose with a wide end and tapers down. The wide end goes onto the rocker cover and the narrow end onto the breather hose. Anyone help? I will try to post some pictures of the part

i am 15 years old about to be 16 in June and i need to get a job because my world is crushing. Basically, I have really bushy, crazy, curly/wavy hair. I either straighten it, or put mousse in it to keep it under control. This summer, I'm traveling out of the country and I have to pack light (no check-in baggage). So I don't have room for a straightener and I can't take liquids in my carry-on bag. My hair is really long, so without these items, I can always braid it or put it in a messy bun. But then I didn't want to have to deal with my long hair on the trip, like having to bring a bunch a shampoo and everything, so I was thinking of cutting my hair short. However, short hair might be even worse because I won't have any hair styles or products to keep it under control either. Plus, I won't be able to buy any hair products where I'm going. Any suggestions?

This information about a loving God commanding Jewish boys to gang rape 32,000 virgin baby girls is really causing a lot of confusion within the churches. Could it be that we for too long time have been offered select verses, withholding those which may disturb us or don't fit into the society we are told we live in? It is horrible enough that a loving God should have commanded the young Jewish soldiers to kill all men down to baby boys, exactly what is happening in Palestine today, and that this may explain a lot of the problems we have over there? Most of us know very llittle about the Bible. Could it be that Jesus spoke about gang rapes and that this may clear up the great confusion inside our churches because of this, and, all those embarrassing questions from our youth? Let's hope that those versed in the Bible more than we are can help us out here.

I want a program that is free and easy to use (that I can also download from somewhere on the internet) that can help me edit photos. Like I took a nice photo of myself, but there this one little object that ruins the picture, and i was wondering if there's a program that can help me either fill something in or crop it out or something. I don't want to retake the picture when I have a good one already. Any help ?

A Scottish old timer is talking to a young man in a bar.
"Lad, look out there to the field. Do ye see that fence? Look how well it's built. I built that fence stone by stone with me own two hands. Piled it for months. But do they call me MacGregor-the-Fence-Builder? Nooo..." blurts the old man.

Then the old man gestured at the bar.

"Look here at the bar. Do ye see how smooth and just it is? I planed that surface down with me own achin' back. I carved that wood with me own hard labor for eight days. But do they call me MacGregor-the-Bar-builder? Nooo..." claims the old man.

Then the old man points out the window. "Eh, Laddy, look out to sea. Do ye see that pier that stretches out as far as the eye can see? I built that pier with the sweat off me back. I nailed it board by board. But do they call me MacGregor-the-Pier-Builder? Nooo..." says the old man.

I have shin splints, but I have a meet on tuesday. My legs are not bad enough that I can't run (I went to all my practices this week), but they hurt a lot. I really want to run at the meet, and I also want to do well. I already tried ice and pain killers. What can I do? Any certain stretches? Not running at the meet is not an option, but I am resting over the weekend and swimming on monday. Thankx.

I was recently put on probation . I get a random drug/alcohol urine test and I need to know what type of test i am getting. My lab slip said a ethanol urine, I assume that is a regular alcohol urine test. However there is a new test, EgT that is very sensitive and can detect alcohol use even from mouthwash for up to 80 hours. If you get the EgT test, do they tell you to stay away from certain products? I was not informed either way and I would like to know without having to ask my PO. Any advice? Anyone being tested?

If a ladder has an open length of say 5.2m how high up will it go? I understand it should sit 25 degrees from vertical, so there must be a formulae?
