I need a part for my Daewoo nexia (97 1.4) but I dont know the name. Its a short rubber hose with a wide end and tapers down. The wide end goes onto the rocker cover and the narrow end onto the breather hose. Anyone help? I will try to post some pictures of the part

Its a breather hose, fully load by the looks of it. Go to Daewoo parts and tell the you need a breather hose, cam cover to intake tube. They should know what you need.

Your pcv valve sucks air out of the engine. That breather hose in the picture is how the air gets in. It needs filtered air so you're not sucking dust and sand into the engine. If it leaked or came off, that would be a bad thing.

The part you need is called the breather hose. It IS important because if it continues to crush and gets restricted, you will have too much pressure inside the crankcase. The pressure could damage gaskets and cause oil leaks.

Sounds like the breather hose but just to make sure, here's an idea.

Take it to dealership and show them.
