Anglican Head Williams Says Anti-Gays Misread Bible

The spiritual leader of the world's 77 million Anglicans has said conservative Christians who cite the Bible to condemn homosexuality are misreading a key passage written by Saint Paul almost 2,000 years ago.

Archbishop of Canterbury Rowan Williams, addressing theology students in Toronto, said an oft-quoted passage in Paul's Epistle to the Romans was meant to warn Christians not to be self-righteous when they see others fall into sin.

How is this misread? Paul's meaning is very clear--

"Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion."

Hi everyone. I'm 20 years old and my ex is 25. We had been together for 14 months before we broke up few days ago. We were in love.
Few days ago, he wanted to break up with me. I told him that we could work out together, but he didnt want to. He said that he does not love me anymore and doesnt have any feelings left for me. He said he still loves me as a friend. He told me that the main reason we broke up was that he wanted to be a freeman, free from any attachment because he wanted to do things for himself, like travelling and hang out with anyone he wants to. He didnt want any girlfriend right now and he wanted to move on. He said that he was SO happy that he is finally free and broke up with me. I was so upset, I talked to him for 3 days after he dumped me, but he still didnt want to get back together. He asked me to move on and he didnt want to give me any hope. I am 101% sure he is not cheating on me. I still love him and I admit i had faults in this relationship. Thank you.

I owe $1,500 on my credit card and now it was transferred to an attorney and I made an arrangement with them because I just wanted to take care of my debt. I started paying it Jan until Feb. but something came up but they don't want to lower my payment so I don't have any choice but not making any payments and they have my checking acct number and other info. They keep calling me that they will turn this case to Los Angeles county. What shoud i do?

US General, Chivington and his men killed 150 and 184 innocent Cheyennes. Some were mutilated, and most were women, children, and elderly men! Chivington and his men then showed off his victory on killing defenseless people who only sought peace by displaying their body parts, including human fetuses and genitalia in the Apollo Theater and saloons in Denver. We need to remember this as well.

Will Bush finally look at political ways to end the sectarian violence in Iraq? 10 million troops could still not make Sunni's and Shia get along. Its not going to happen, the ambassador to Iraq admits it. Most of the politicians in Iraq know this. Yet bush still insists on getting Americans killed in the cross fire of a civil war. This is no longer about terrorism. Of the 800 attacks that occur each day in Iraq, almost ALL of them are sectarian violence. How many more good americans need to die before this country is sick and tired of an incompetent leader and his utterly incompetent plans?

I was bored the other day, so I started playing Starcraft and I got hooked again! It's such a classic! I love it how the three races are totally different but relatively equal in power. In Warcraft 3 the races are all too similar.

Anyway, I have a bit of trouble when I'm playing as the Zerg against the computer. I know that you need to just build up a huge army and "zerg" the enemy and I do that, but they still die too fast and I burn through minerals like crazy rebuilding my army. I can beat the computer if I'm playing as the Terrans or the Protoss, but if I'm playing the Zerg I have a pretty tough time. Any suggestions?

I was told that not all std's show up in the blood and that's why my gyno also does a pap and physical exam on me to fully check for all std's. I was also told that the only way a test for herpes will come out positive is if the person is having an outbreak at that time! My boyfriend told me that he went to his family Dr. and had a blood test to check for std's. I geuss that means he didn't get checked for everything. If a woman goes to a gynocologist then what is the doctor called that specializes in male reproductive health? What do men have to get done to get tested for EVERYTHING???

My brother is 40yrs old, divorced, working part-time and lives with Mom. Less then a 1mo after exiting U-Turn for Christ (a Christian rehad), he is again drinking.

The family has found empty liquor bottles in bushes and behind the dryer. Most of his drinking is done in the garage. He goes to church to please my Mom. But, he fools no one except himself. Mom refuses to remove him from the home. My Mom is diabetic and dealing with kidney problems.

We are a strong Christian family. I welcome all positive prayers. I know our Lord has a plan. But, what can we do as a family to help resolve this issue?
