Is there a way to convert a VCD back into the original AVI files that you started with?

I am trying to pull individual videos off of a VCD that I created, but I have no idea how to convert them back into the original AVI files. Can it be done? Do I need a special Program? How do I do it?

Not recommended. VCD res is 320x240 or something like that.

But if you really want to, use VCDGear or VCDEasy to rip the .DAT files out to MPEG1s, then re-encode MPEG1 to AVI with appropriate codecs.
