Yes. Have you ever seen 'out-takes' from the Simpsons? No. That is as likely, as a fundamentalist's concept of prophecy. Many people refuse to accept the dramatic nature of apocalyptic literature. It was very big, back in the day, and had a lot less to do with Theology, and a lot more to do with entertainment. Most drama from that era was as simple as 'Road-runner' cartoons. Does anyone ever think the coyote will catch the road-runner? No. Is ACME the source of all evil deeds. No. Can people get so wrapped up in the drama, that they miss the message, and rob themselves of the joy? YES!

On the contrary, He-Man and Mastors of the Universer are more like Heaven/Hell, Jesus/Satan.
There has always been a good against evil literary themes through history.
