How can I get it to not get thos nasty-a55 little drops from forming on the meringue?

Weeping is little droplets of honey tasting dew. I am not happy unless mine comes out that way. It is very normal whether or not the meringue is "sealed" to the pie or not.
If you don't like it I suggest cool whip.

You need to really "seal" the meringue to the crust. There can't be any gap anywhere. And make sure it's in very good contact with the crust. Otherwise the steam will cause the weeping.

Add cream of tarter to your meringue. A tsp should do it.

i think an easy fix is also to use a packet of gelatin to keep it from falling.
