I mean, they aren't being patronizing, they are just trying to be nice and proper, it isn't that men don't think that we can do it its that they don't want us to have to. Its out of respect, they aren't trying to demean women... everyone knows we can open our own doors.

I'm not being accusatory, it just doesn't make sense to me, so why doesn't some one enlighten me, because I think that those kind of gentlemanly things are cute and sweet, not degrading.

Everytime I gain weight, why does it instantaneously go to my face? My cheeks become enormous its not even funny. I was taking some pictures this morning and well yeah thats how I noticed, but then what do you do when you get depressed? You eat! I went right for the cookies lol. I ran on the treadmill for 50 minutes, so hopefully I burnt all those calories, and now I'm scared of eating anything else. Please help me, my stats are 5'8 and 133 lbs. =[

I sorta feel that a slight, or maybe moderate, air of hostility is coming between Americans and Koreans.
It's pretty sure that Cho Seung-Hui, a South Korean, was responsible for the shootings, and being a South Korean myself, I just feel a little insecure and even sorta embaressed/ashamed. Let's just hope that tensions do not escalate any further.

Is it okay for me to feel this way?
