ask yourself how much of a belly ache you are willing to deal with and serve to your guests.
when in doubt, throw it out.
sometimes the best way to avoid waste is to toss out food that is questionable. visiting the doctor for food poisoning is expensive.

If you are using the marinade to poach the meat in, then it's okay to use. Like if you marinate steaks you can use the marinade to baste them as they're cooking. But you cannot cook the steaks and add new raw beef to it.

We have before, but I don't really like to & NEVER with chicken. I prefer to make enough to use 1/2 to marinate in, then put the other half in a small saucepan on the stove & heat.......
