the check engine light came on today. is it possible to find out what is wrong with the engine without taking it to the shop. i did make sure that the gas cap was on tight, which it was. i need to drive back to school on sunday, would it be ok to drive it. thanks

I would like to become a social worker in a highshool, or a accademic counsler in a college, or work as a private social worker. What is the path from here? I have a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. lose 10 punds FAST but in a way that it will stay off,
i need help bc i do have a past of losing the weight the 'unhealthy way' =/ so ii need to lose it fast and healthy and neeeed for it to stay off,
im 5'3 15 years old and about 120 lb's
ii don't eat red meat just chicken & fish,& have no time for exercise or the gym but do alot of walking at work after school

I am off work with a back injury. I received a certified letter from my employer telling me to come back to work on Tues although none of my doctors have cleared me to go back to work. I was seen by the comp companies doctor who lied and said there was nothing wrong with me. I am not ready to return,what should I do? I have a lawyer but cannot speak with him til monday.Don't I have to be cleared by my own doctors?

i really dont know what to do we are supposed to be getting married soon but im starting to really not want to everytime we have a problem instead of talking between us he calls his mom and dad and tells them everything i will go to him and tell him how i feel about a situation and he just blows me off ignores me then calls his mom and tells her how i feel i hate this and i cant live with it but he tells me to deal???what do i do it seems that he is unable to keep anything between the two of us????hes even went as far as going to my parents and telling them are whole life stories i hate this because hes always putting me down in the process?heeelp

Why is it that a white man, be he Irish, German, Swiss or whatever shows pride in his race then HE is labeled racist? Why is this OK for other populations to do? Latino pride, Black pride and yet if someone were to wear a shirt saying White pride then they are made out to be KKK which of course, is NOT a group that I want to be identified with. I'm 16, female, and in high school and I'm pretty sure that this guy likes me because all of a sudden I see him everyday after class.

But when I finally got a chance to talk him in group work he acts so mean and says that I act like I'm "too smart/cool for groupwork" and it made me speechless. He was nice before but now he's so rude to me for some reason. Why would someone do that...
