Hi All,
Can anyone tell me if i'd have to pay custom duties when ordering children's clothes from the US to Ireland?

I don't believe so, but it is possible. If you are ordering through a catalog service such a tax will be added to your purchase when you order and will be very obvious. Same goes for online purchases. I'm pretty certain that clothing is not restricted, but if it is, you'll know when you start to place the order.

Custom duties are imposed on liquor, cigarette and other non essential item goods. As trade develops, the duties, aka. tariff tax are gone.

I do not believe child clothes will be charged by tariff tax, especially considering trade agreement between the US and Ireland.
