1. Ameba: Surrounds and engulfs food with its pseudopods.
Paramecium sweeps food into its oral groove with the aid of cilia.
Euglena has a mouth opening but can also make its own food by photosynthesis.
Algae can make its own food by photosynthesis.
Fungi-like protists digest their food extracellularly (outside of their cell) and then absorb the digested products by diffusion.

2.It's caused by a fast and overproduction of algae (Algae gone wild!) . This overproduction prevents light from penetrating the water and causes green plants below the algae to die fron lack of light and insufficient oxygen.
The massive amount of dead organisms decays by bacterial action and the entire area becomes putrefied (a big smelly
toxic mess) which kills fish and other water life which causes more decay.... not healthy to be near.

3. Some molds (like bread mold) carry on a process involving + & - strains of hypha . Zygospores are produced which are equivalent to a primitive seed. Zygospores develop into a new mold.

This should probably all be in your science book. If you are having trouble with this topic, don't be afraid to ask you teacher for some after school help. Maybe there are others in your class who are having trouble as well? You could start a study group.
