I like World Vision. They even send you a catalog and you can give a family or a child farm animals to help with daily food sources....dairy, etc. And they have a monthly donation that helps impoverished families or children. I really like their organization.

Unfortunately, at this time, I don't have the resources to support any charity. If I did I would support the Humane Society, AIDs Research and Hospices.

Each of us has to decide for ourselves which charities to support. I've supported different ones over the years, and now I have 2 that I contribute to. You have to decide for yourself which charities to contribute to, no one can decide this for you. One way I make a decision is how the charity spends its money. If they send out monthly mailings asking me to donate, I won't donate, because they spend too much on advertising!

I like to contribute to any charity that helps animals. I have one that I give to regularly. The other place I contribute is to a Humanitarian Fund that my church created. I like to give to this regularly because I know exactly where my money goes -- to help people, not to advertising!

My husband contributes to a Civil War society, and to a group that helps animals.

My question to you is, why do you want to know which charities people support?

Catholic Charities support anyone with faith or not. They have helped everyone with no exceptions or need to pay back.
