I'm one of the college freshmen that suffers from the freshmen 15.. unfortunately, mine was more like the freshmen 25... I weighed 117 when I arrived at school and I now weigh about 129/130 (which is less than I used to be!). Anyway, I'm starting to panic because I want to do a diet that can help me lose weight fast and get back to around 120ish... is anyone knowledgeable in this field? I know losing that much weight this fast is not the healthiest thing to do, but let's just say I need to lose some weight... sort of like a post-break up revenge sort of thing, but I need to lose it as fast as possible... like within the next 2-3 weeks.... can anyone help!?

Considering the Democrats will not rubberstamp Bush Administration policies or actions, and are now asking tough questions, demanding real explanations and attempting to do the will of the people rather than Corporate America regarding Iraq, Bush and Company's prospects for success in forging ahead with their miscreant ways appear a little bleak. Administration officials (Gonzales and Rove) are now scurrying around with egg on their faces looking for places to hide. There are none.

Poor George, perhaps he should have thought things through a little more carefully before thinking he could hide all his actions from the American public. There is an old saying that murder will out. In this case, perhaps we should add so will gross mismanagement, misrepresentation, obfuscation, arrogance, incompetence and downright "disassembling" (dissembling), to use one of Dubya's favorite words.

My mother just passed and left me 5 dogs I really don't want. She always told me to put them to sleep if something happend to her but I just can't do that right now. I don't want them but can't stand to kill an innocent animal(s) for no reason. The local pound is overloaded and won't take them either. What to do????

I never had this problem but recently , when I step on the gas, instead of the car immediately moving , the car pauses or there is no immediate reaction. Instead, it pauses for a second or two and then it moves. To be a little more clear, it does move but very slowly and than there is the sudden jump. This only happens when the car is starting to move from stop. Why is it doing that ?
