Should I kill my mother's dogs now that she is gone????

My mother just passed and left me 5 dogs I really don't want. She always told me to put them to sleep if something happend to her but I just can't do that right now. I don't want them but can't stand to kill an innocent animal(s) for no reason. The local pound is overloaded and won't take them either. What to do????

Put an ad in the newpaper...free...I am quite sure there are dog lovers out there that will adopt them. Either that or find a rescue that will take them. We both know that if they end up in the pound what will happen to them. Is there a "no kill" shelter in your area..call them. Good Luck.

Try an add in the paper for a good home and try not to separate all of them. Some shelters have a no kill policy. Try going outside your area if your local shelter is overloaded. Also, just don't give them to jut anyone, they like to tie them up outdise instead of being part of thefamily and get their addresses and check up on them. Some people take these animals and sell them for expieriemental labs and some use for pit bull fight training and others just are sadistic.
