this guy just texted me and he's asked me out a couple of times and i've said to him I didn't want a boyfriend right now. we're friends. i don't want to go out with him but he's never asked me in person or never when he can hear my voice so i know he's really shy about it.

he just said: i really like you can u please give me a chance.

I feel really, really, REALLY bad...what do I say? I need help!
To save time, I responded: do you really, you're so mean to me! <--in a joking way.

Can Republicans now say that "they told you so" about Liberals who seek to censor speech that they find disagreeable. Will all comedy now be censored including all 30 year old Richard Pryor works, 20 year old Eddie Murphy works, and 10 year old Chris Rock (to a lesser extent) works where they made tons of jokes about white people?

Remember a few decades ago the big hubbub about killer bees. They were invading the US and spreading everywhere. Scary news stories aired about people getting stung repeatedly. Tons of federal grant money was awarded to study the problem.
So what happened? Was there not enough money to be made with killer bees? Did scientific study move on to bigger, scarier study projects?
I mean, what good is spending federal grant money unless it creates something big business can turn a profit on?
What a system.
Who made all the money pumping pollution into the air?
Why it's the same people we are going to pay to fix the problem.

I found this as a definition of autism:
"Autism is a disorder of brain function that appears early in life, generally before the age of three. Which sounds like so much bs to me. What is being described here is just an average person.

I got saved on January the first, but then "quit" a couple days afterward. I think its only because I have one question, though. I don't fully understand. If I was a saved man for 20 years, lets say, and only sinned (lied) once in that time, am I going to Heaven? Please give excerpts out of the Bible.

I feel saved though, I come on here everyday, and feel it, you know?
So, am I saved? (I feel more of a Christian than when I did get saved!)

Bought a used hot tub. I was told it worked before the husband replaced the plug and it blew every fuse in the house. It uses 115v i plugged it into my garage and nothing....

I know its getting power because it fried the heck out of me when i was messing with the guts while plugged in..stupid i know.

Anyone know where i should start other than hiring a repair man? Do i need to start the pump some how...do hot tubs often have on off switches other than the plugging it in and the dials?

can a lap top keep up with a desk top?..can you hook up printers to a lap top?. i want the benifit of a desk top for family use for my son and i, but want the benifit of being able to move to whatever room i wanted, what would be a good lap top that would fit my needs, or should i say wants, i heard lap tops have way less memory, would could i do about that?,...thanks

My F350 turbo diesel got very wet when I hit a puddle that I did not see. It began to buck and my “engine needs service” light came on. It finally dried out and things were ok again. At least I thought things were ok. The problem I now have is that every time it rains, I get that same bucking and the light comes back on. I do not know where to look for the problem. I have been told that it is the glow plugs, its wires, its this or that. I was wondering if anybody ever had this problem?

I am looking to boost my credit score. I am 22 with an AMEX Blue card with 0% through October. I have an open credit line of $9200 with $3200 used up. Should I keep my schedule of paying $150 a week or pay it off in full. What will benefit me more? The only reason I am looking to boost my score of 715 is in preparation of buying a house next summer. I will be a first time home buyer and I do not want to get hassled around with all the subprime lending fall out.

I had a molar pulled while I was pregnant- well it was really a stump of yuckiness as it was a root canal/crown that broke apart. So now I have a missing tooth there- do I have to get an implant or bridge? What will happen if I just leave the empty space there?

Not trying to bash Christianity. Even a skeptic like me agree in Jesus' teaching of humility, peace and simplicity. But many followers, not all, don't seem to practice these teachings. Now, do you think Christianity is falling out of favor? Decadent? I think so. But again, is not bashing Christianity but telling an honest truth. What do you think?
P.D.: I admit to be somewhat arrogant. But at least I have the humility to admit it.

If one compares some of the teachings of Jesus to the teachings of the Buddha, one finds teachings too similar to be coincidence. I don't quite understand why it is offensive that Jesus might have been inspired by some of the teachings of the Buddha and incorporated them into his own teachings. Why is this offensive to some? The messages being love and compassion.......

I want to print some fairly large prints (about 12x18) and display them in my home. I would like to know of a good place to get the frames without breaking the bank. I would like a basic black wood frame with white matting of a few inches or more for a print of this size. Sort of a basic gallery style. Any suggestions where to buy?
