I couldn't find one when my neice needed to be a bluebird.
So I bought her a blue leotard and tights to match then I bought several large squares of felt, one white and one blue as well as one quareter yard of felt off the bolt. Also, several packs of blue feathers.
I cut an oval of whithe for the blue bird's belly to give her some contrast.
I cut a half circle out of one blue felt square and sewed the straight edges together creating a cone and stuffed it to within an inch of it's life with poly fibrefill and sewed the edges of the cone to the seat of her leotard to make the birds behind. Then I stitched and sewed featers sprouting out the tip of the cone and secured them wiht more glue to withstand wiggling.
I cut the quarter yard of felt to go from her wrist to the oppoisite wrist and added about three inches for flutter and movement. I sewed large hair ties to the ends at to wrists and elbows to keep her wings where I wanted them. two places at the shoulders were sewn to the leotard. After all is in place cut a long arc from wrist to middle then back to wrist and glue some small feathers at the wrists and along wing edge.
It totally rocked, but while she was dancing, I thought HMMMMMI could have thrown in a feather boa choker and boa along the top wing edge, but, enough. It was fine as was.
Still looked at www.simplicity.com and www.mccalls.com and was disappointed to find nothing not even dance costumes.

Do you want silly birds like a sports mascot, or more like a dance costume?
