i'm a Christian and all and sometimes I think that there are a lot less Christians sometimes too and there probably is which is sad. but that's what Christians are supposed to do is to help people believe in God and stuff. i hate it when people who call themselves "Christians" look down and are mean to people who aren't Christians. that's not what they're supposed to do. and so I wonder why people are so mean and against us and I realized i can't really blame them. they were probably bad mouthed or was rude to by a "Christian". i will admit it even though I don't want to but some "Christians" are just rude! but no, i know that Christianity and God will last forever!

I think that sometime in the near future(5-7 years) we are going to go through some very important changes. Not just in consciousness but the physical world as well. Not only will Christianity be a distant memory, but all other manipulated truth's as well. The wheels are already in motion. Just observe the people around you. People are starting to wake up(so to speak). They are searching for something that makes more sense. IE: Ramtha's school of enlightenment started back in 1979 or so. There were a handful of students with the only classes being offered in Yelm, WA. Now, classes are being taught all over the world and there are thousands that attend these classes. I have attended and it was the best experience of my entire life.I would strongly recommend that everyone on earth go to that school at least once. Unless you are scared your religion will fall to pieces, then don't go. The so called miracles, they are every day occurrences with the knowledge of this school. Good Journey!

Christians have been in the final days since Jesus got nailed to the tree (I have holy scripture from eye witnesses who say that it was a tree, not a cross). Unfortunately, christianity will not go away any time soon. There are too many believers who in turn make more believers through coersion or propagation. They're all waiting for Jesus to return and believe that they should continue to try to multiply until he does. You can see where I'm going with this. Maybe around 3050 A.D. (After Death) people will stop waiting, but for now, we're stuck with the dissidants that claim to be good, godly people.
Don't get me wrong, not all christians are bad. Some can actually be good, morally upstanding members of society. But for the most part, they'd rather let their children die of degenerate spinal diseases than let scientists figure out a cure. They'd rather see a rape victim bear the child of her rapist than allow her to abort it. They'd rather tell you you're going to hell than to have an honest discussion about the possibility that they only worship the god they serve because they weren't born in Iraq, Afghanistan, Israel, Turkey, Iran, Syria, or even America in pre-New World times.
They think their god has been around forever, and since they have no interest in history, they always will. They think history and science books are tricks from the devil to get them to stop believing in god.

The Christian religion has never followed all the rules and I don't believe it will end (or get any smaller) because main weapon they use (which is very unfortunate and which I disagree with because im a Christian myself) is Fear and they make it even worse when they attack others at a young age. If you are taught something at a young age it sticks with you whether your conscious of it or not. So if Christianity is taught at a young age the probability of the person staying Christian is high and since the world is always increasing in population the religion is always growing. It's almost guaranteed that a parent will teach their children Christianity if they are Christians themselves.

So do I. It sure looks like it, from inside and out.
Dissension, arguments, in-fighting, waywardness and sheer stubbornness, panic...it's like we are falling apart at the seams. Truly.
Is Christianity in its last days? Not even. God is never stymied by the antics of some 2 year olds (or at least, those old enough to know better). Now, the world is another completely different story. Winding down faster than the old Grandfather clock in someone's hall.
Falling out of favor? Well, Christianity and Christians for that matter, have been in and out of favor since the whole thing began at creation. You know, what goes around, will go around again.
The focus is not so much people, who are, as you know from your own life--prone to do any silly thing and follow any silly notion that pops into their little heads. This is why, while God awaits in the wings, he watches all of us: saved and non-saved alike, act a total fool any of 30+ days per (most) months.
People should be carrying out God's wishes, and being busy about that, we are arguing semantics and while personally relevant, are eternally of little value. In most cases (since I don't know every church's or denominations' issues).
Decadent? I don't know about all that. I haven't seen anything decadent yet, but to some--indeed to most--there may appear to be a lot of excess going on. But the last days issues are, of necessity, a monumental job; we need all the help we can get. Soul-winning on a global scale ain't cheap, or easy.
Because of the time we live in, things are expensive. And those expenses are mounting daily--even close to skyrocketing. Christians' pockets are strained, though God, honorable as he is, honors his word and replenishes, but people are, who people are. They think of self first (naturally), and God is a poor 157th on their lists of top 200 priorities.
Everything suffers. People grow weary, tired of the fight, unprepared to handle the long haul--even so close to the finish line. God's work goes undone (or slowly or poorly accomplished), and Christians are portraying to the public that we are undone. Even so, victories occur by the second. We may be idle, or slow, or even lazy. God, and the Holy Spirit are as busy as ever. Nothing slows God down.
God will do what he has set out to do, no matter who is on board in spirit, or in fact. Christianity will continue.
I appreciate your question. I do not argue, and it is such a pleasure to answer such nice questions.
Have a star!
Hope I helped!

It's lasted 2000 years so far and Scripture promises that Hell will not prevail against the Church.
Decadent? Yes. But it's those who have betrayed the Church that are "falling out of favor" and will not last.
We've actually been through much worse than this. Study early Church history and you'll see. Remember the Arian heresy?

No, not at all, but the mainstream media would like you to believe that.
Christianity is growing fast, tis the reason we are hated so, or at least one of the reasons, The fastest growing Christian denomination is Pentecostal (Assembly Of God)
in Fact, the largest Church in the free world is a pentecostal Church In Seoul S. Korea and is Pentecostal with over 1 million members in it's congregation and is still growing.
My Church is Pentecostal and we have grown from 85 members in Nov 06' to 600 as of last week and still growing.

I was surprised to see this question, especially after talking with a pastor today about what was growing faster Islam or Christianity. You ask if Christianity is in its final days and then give a short synopsis of why you think it is. Truth is Christianity is growing faster and larger.

not even close, Christianity remains exploding all all over the area, even with it is decline in a number of the West. Europe is growing to be to be further and extra Muslim, a style that would not look to decelerate any time quickly. u . s ., Christianity is rooted deeply, yet for people who in no way relatively have had genuine dating with Christ, there are assorted "isms" to decide for between or retreat to (secularism, atheism, etc.).

Christianity never had the favor of the world. What is gaining in favor today is churchianity.
Jesus Christ is the King of Kings who is building his church and when his church is complete the world will come to its end.
Are you ready? Do you want to spend eternity in the presence of the one who died to pay the penalty for your sin, who went to prepare a place for us so that when he comes again he will receive us to himself so that where he is there we may be also?
