taking place on their campus...Bob Jones University, a fundamentalist Christian school, until recently did not allow interracial dating.

Both are fundamentalist schools, claiming to do the work of Christ...both are basing their "morals" on the Bible....but, we have established that none of these things are prohibited by the Bible.

So, are fundamentalists out of touch? What about all other issues facing us today...again, if we can't believe them on the issues of interracial dating, drinking and dancing. How can we respect them on more pertinent issues?

I know this was asked earlier...but, wanted to hear more opinions.

he was in perfect health. playful, happy, energetic. then all of a sudden he got really sick and pale . in one day! i took him to the vet that day , he spent the night then he passed away there. how did this happen?!

Im currently 30 weeks pregnant and i will be 37 weeks pregnant on June 2nd. When i reach 37 weeks this is considered term. I wanted to know if i can start walking at that time to get things moving??? Im so sick of being pregnant already. I cannot sleep at all, i have heartburn for days and it sucks LOL. maybe by then ill change my mind. But i just want to know if i can start trying to put myself into labor when i hit 37 weeks?

If God does exist, why not just appear to everybody and part the Atlantic Ocean, appear to everybody at once, create a new sister Earth, or do some other magnificant feat so we can know that he/she is indeed God?

HERE'S MY PRE-EMPTIVE COUNTER ARGUMENTS.

Some will ignore the question and partly change the subject. They will say well we can't put love or our thoughts on the table. It doesn't mean they don't exist. By using that argument, however, you are saying God is an abstract object like love or a thought, not an actual physical object that can part the Red Sea, etc, etc.

Others will say, well nonbelievers wouldn't believe anyway. Well you being a believer, have no idea what us infidels would believe. I for one would believe if God appeared to us and showed us he was truly omnipotent.

Yesterday I posted a question on this board asking this question:

"Is it possible for a woman to get pregnant by having intercourse with another woman?"

For this question I got mocked and people got judgmental about it. What is wrong with people? Seriously??? I read on a medical website that said that man-on-man intercourse cannot lead to pregnancy, whereas woman-on-woman intercourse can lead to pregnancy. I just wanted to make sure if what the were saying is right or not. Then why you people jump down my throat saying I am uneducated and lack sense? Seriously, grow up everyone! All I was asking was for technical advice - not your close minded judgment.

Also English is not my first language, so should I have phrased my question in a different way, perhaps to make it sound like asking for technical advice rather than emotional opinion?

So an Englishman, and Scotsman, and an Irishman are sitting at a bar together, and as chance would have it, three fruitflies fly over them and land in each of their pints.

The Englishman looks at his Boddingtons with utter discust. He promptly informs the bartender that a fly landed in his pint and that he'd like another.

The Scotsman nonchalantly scoops the fly out of his Belhaven with his fingers, tosses it aside, and resumes drinking his pint.

k well i dated her from 5/5/2005 to 8/20/06 and i know for a fact she's the one cuz ive tryed to move on ive dated but every time i do i go and think and want to be with her so the relationship with the current girl doesnt last for more than 2-3 weeks i know she is the one i want and well she thinks she loves him no but he is dirt he does drugs cheats onher on the side tho she doesnt realize it and wont believe me and then she plays these games with me from time to time and im sick of it its driving me up the wall and messing with my head

I was with a girl for 4 years and she moved back home 1 1/2 years ago (to S. America), so it became long distance. Even though I was ready to marry her and was planning on doing it this spring, she told me 3 months ago that she met someone in her country, he proposed, she accepted, and they got married last month. I think she was obsessed with getting married and this is what she did, she didnt think I would do it and made a rash choice. Her family/friends did not agree with her choice, wanted her to marry me. I begged but she wouldnt change her mind. I love her and am in a immense depression. She has been married 6 weeks and last week she emailed my mom out of the blue and said she cries every day for me bcs she knows I am sad. She said she thinks about me and dreams about me each day. Says her husband is trying to help her "forget me." She said she wants to try with her marriage but that she cries every day bcs. she knows I am suffering. Can I write her? Call? Nothing? Girls, advice!
