A few weeks ago, i worked up the nerve to ask out a girl i was crushing on for months, it caught her by surprize, so i left it an open ended option. next time i saw her she seemed almost apologetic, saying she wasn't expecting that and that she was "spoken for". i was almost relieved, now we could go on being friends and i wouldn't have to waste emotions or continue to crush on her, though i probably still do abit. anyways, now when i see her shes really tuned into me, excited almost for when i come around. its probably just something fun for her, and i don't care, but now knowing that she has a boyfriend, i was looking to distance myself from the situation, tone it down; she seems to be opposite, whats that mean?

She asks her students to raise their hands
if they were liberal Democrats too. Not really knowing what a liberal Democrat was, but wanting to be like their
teacher, their hands flew up into the air. There was, however, one exception. A girl named Lucy had not gone
along with the crowd. The teacher asks her why she has decided to be different. "Because I'm not a liberal
Democrat." "Then," asks the teacher, "What are you?" ''Why I'm a proud conservative Republican," boasts the
little girl. The teacher, a little perturbed and her face slightly red, asked Lucy why she was a conservative
Republican. "Well, I was brought up to trust in myself instead of relying on an intrusive government to care for me
and do all of my thinking. My Dad and Mom are conservative Republicans, and I am a conservative Republican
too." The teacher, now angry, loudly says, "That's no reason! What if your Mom was a moron, and your dad
was a moron. What would you be then?" She pauses, and lets out a smile. "Then," Lucy says, "I'd be a liberal
Democrat."

I've been watching Fox News and reading the Weekly Standard this week. All reports coming out of Iraq are excellent. It was even safe enough for McCain to visit! The surge is clearly working, and we should have it all cleaned up by next month. We'd have it done a lot sooner, if our guys had free-rein to kill all the varmints and troublemakers, though. That's why you send an army: to kill people!

So why are those Shia protesting? Ingrates, that's what I say. All kinds of rioting, protesting, and ugly eyeball nonsense over there. They oughta be on their knees and thanking the good Lord above for our President Bush. Just like those kids in "Jesus Camp"! We oughta send them some cardboard cut-outs of good ol' W. Then they could pray and show thanks and say "Oh Lord Bush, thou art my master. COMMAND me!" That would be pretty grateful.

I don't know how many "Mohammad-jihad-dirka-dirkas" that translates to in their language, but someone will figure it out.

We have been married 3+ years, together for for over seven years. I still love her, and I have no intention of being unfaithful. Our relationship is fine, no problems beyond the occasional "standard" issues. We get along well. And she is very caring toward me.

Is this all that love is? A lot of excitement and heat at first, only to slowly fade away over the years to a kind of "comfortable-ness"?

A woman takes a lover during the day, while her husband is at work.

One day, her 9-year-old son hides in the closet during one of her romps. Her husband comes home unexpectedly, so she hides the lover in the closet.

The little boy says, "It's dark in here."
The man whispers, "Yes, it is."
Boy - "I have a baseball."
Man - "That's nice."
Boy - "Want to buy it?"
Man - "No, thanks."
Boy - "My dad's outside."
Man - "OK, how much?"
Boy - "$250."

In the next few weeks, it happens again that the boy and the mom's lover end up in the closet together.

Boy - "It's dark in here."
Man - "Yes, it is."
Boy - "I have a baseball glove."
Man - Remembering last time, asks, "How much?"
Boy - "$750."
Man - "Fine."

A few days later, the father says to the boy, "Grab your ball and glove. Let's go outside and toss the baseball."

The boy says, "I can't. I sold them."

The father asks, "How much did you sell them for?"

The son says "$1,000."

The father says, "It's terrible to overcharge your friends like that. That's way more than those two things cost. I'm going to take you to church and make you confess."

They go to the church and the father makes the little boy sit in the confession booth and he closes the door.

The boy says, "It's dark in here."
The priest says, "Don't start that crap again!"

I want to apologize to all homosexuals in here who have been mistreated by the Christian community for far too long. I also want to dispel the myth that every Christian hates gays. It is unbiblical for me to not love my neighbor as myself. With that being said...do you ever think the church can shake itself of all the harm it has done to the gay community?

My grandmother just had a stroke and she is home with my mom, brother, and I. However, we have a friend who is friend's with my Grandfather. However, he met my mother a couple of months ago. And, asked for her phone number. Since then, he has fixed our computer, does errands with my mother, and helps out around our house. Problem is he is around sixty years old and is married with two grown daughters. When he comes over to our house his wife or daughters are never with him. One time, he invited us to dinner at his house when his wife or daughters were not at home. He calls my mother at least three times a week and comes to our house at least two times a week. Even though my Grandmother is sick right now and he seems to be helping out. Is it weird that he never take his wife with him? Does he has other intentions besides helping out? Does it seem like he has a crush on my mother?
Is this situation weird?
