Notre Lame has a chance to win the title in 10 years.
But, do they deserve it right now? No they do not.
They play TWO!! ONLY TWO true football opponents, which are USC and Michigan, and they get blown out of the water 90% of the time. Notre Dame is the most over rated university in NCAA history.
Until they join a conf., play more than 2 real teams, stop cheating, and then stop whining. They do not deserve to be in the top 15. Notre Dame hasn't played competition in like, 12 years. They're horrible and almost lose to teams like Stanford and teams of that caliber. They play no one besides Michigan and USC, drill that into your Notre Dame loving brain. They do nothing.
I'm part Irish and I take offense that they use Irish in their name and are that horrible. There are high schools with the name Fighting Irish that could beat Notre Dame.
So stop bandwagoning and find a team who doesn't whine and plays some real competition.

The glory days of Notre Dame are over for good. Seems most years they get a top 10 ranking just because of who they USE to be. Last year was a prime example...they were not top 10 material at any point

Nope. They will never win a National Championship. Why? Because their academic standards are way too high. Look at all the criminals that Ohio State recruits. ND won't touch those convicts. No title for ND in your lifetime.

If Notre Dame ever reaches the national title while having schedules like they've had these past few years, then they don't deserve it. Notre Dame NEVER plays a tough schedule. Oh, my god, we played USC, they're so tough....not. And "we have to play like California?!!". With that type of schedule, I think North Texas could go to the BCS.

Coveted QB's are one thing but if Weis can't attract good defensive talent and make a defensive minded team then #1 will never happen. The offense is always there in some shape or form, but the defense has been porrous and inexperienced for a long time.

I think ND can win a title probley not for another year or two but even if we never win another weve won more than anyother school in the history of college football so all these cocky SOB's (thas you longhorns an gators) can play catch up fer another 30 yrs er so

Yes, we will...possibly next season if Jimmy Clausen is healthy...He's been the best HS QB in the country...If not next season, I'd say in two seasons...

No you will not. But..... NBC loves your team so you will get to see them tread the waters of mediocrity any time they are playing.
