Need help doing these, I need the function equations as well

1. Radium-221 has a half-life of 30 seconds. What fraction of a sample would remain after 10 minutes?

2. A bacteria culture doubles every .25 hours. At tune 1.25 hours, an estimate of 40 000 is taken. Calculate the initial size of the culture and the size after 3 hours

3. The half-life of Paladium-100 is 4 days. After 16 days a sample has been reduced to a mass of .75 mg. What is the initial mass of the sample?

What would you do if you had your upstairs neighbours singing karaoke in the night?

I live in a apartment block and my neighbour directly above is making a whole lot of problems for me and my family. What would you do if you have your upstairs neighbours singing karaoke from 5pm in the evening till 11.30pm at night when it is a Sunday and you need to sleep to get ready for work tomorrow? Besides, they are also fond of drilling / knocking of walls in the wee hours between 11pm to 2am. As I need 8 hours of sleep otherwise I will feel giddy the next day. I am under medication for hypertension so please don't tell me to see a doctor. I just need your honest reply as I have tolerated this for 3 years now (I live in an apartment for 9 years now).

Doubt related to speak more than one languages with kids?

Hi All,

I am Deepali staying in Mumbai city of India. My mother-tongue is Marathi (one of the many languages that is speak in India). Our National Language is Hindi and the Standard Communication language is English. English is widely used in all the offices, schools. So most of the people in Mumbai know all the three languages (Marathi, Hindi and English). So we (me, my husband and my other relatives) most of the time talk with my baby either in Marathi or in English. My baby is currently 1 year and 3 months old. She understands now few words of Marathi and few words of English.

I have read somewhere that baby’s grasping power of learning different language is very good in this age. I was just wondering that shall I speak to her in one more language say “Sanskrit” which is India’s ancient Language? (I have also studies that language). Will that be a burden and/or confusion for her? Please help me in knowing this answer.

How is Jesus the son of God?

God is so great and created the entire universe... 70 sextillion stars and more than likely there is other life out there. Every cell, tissue, organ, organ system, works because of God. All the organisms and species react in a way such that not every animal or plant is dying from disease or etc.. Now, how come his "son" came and left in 30 years as a human... on the planet Earth.

Why the area of the quarter sine wave is more than 1 ?

I want to find the area of the quarter sine wave (0 to pi/2)by summation the little squares
I compared this way with integral

I try it by maple 10.
If n=1000
Sigma (i=0 to n-1) sin [ (i*pi)/(2n) ] *(pi/2n) ) ;the value is less than 1
and it’s in the form of the summation of f(x)*delta x
Integral 0 to (pi/2) sin(x)dx ;the value equal to 1

But if I define n = 10000 and I use this way
Sigma (i=0 to n-1) sin [ (i*pi)/(2n) ] *(pi/2n) ) ;the value is more than 1
