I've never worked at an Olive Garden, but I can tell you that the answers you'll get will vary, depending on which area the person may be working. I worked at a chain Italian restaurant, and I made WAY less than other friends I knew who worked in more populous areas. Maybe I just had bad luck, but if you're looking to get into the server business, make sure you apply at a restaurant with good, steady business.

I am a server at Olive Garden, and it is really hard to say daily how much you make bc it varies greatly depending on a lot of factors, lunch shifts you make less bc the checks are less, but on average a regular lunch shift about $35-50, for dinner its usually more, on average about $65-80, but you have your good days and bad, some days you get really cheap people and other days you get generous people, but i average about $400-500 per week working about 5-6 shifts a week, sometimes double shifts.

It depends on the area of the country (menu prices differ in different areas), shifts you work (dinner you make more) and station you work in ( you may make more with larger tables, etc.) I'd say that someone who worked dinners only could average 80-100 a day, lunches only from 40-75 a day. no but good luck and hope that your a great server i know if you suck and you ask "how was every thing" and some one tells you that there was a problem and you just smile and walk away you will not get nothing from me.
