if you really want an answer for that here it goes, there are about 6.53 billion people on the earth. out of those people and CNN said that 12.6 million people use yahoo answers a few months ago, so you make a guestament of about 14 million people use it now. 14,000,000 divided by 6,530,000,000 is approximately .002% chance. then the odds of knowing 1 person out of that .002 percent chance is your .002% divided by your population so here in wichita kansas would be something like .00000005%, therefore the odds of someone reading your answer or question that knows you is approx. equal to getting stuck by lighting 4 times in 1 year. hope this helped.

Highly unlikely and I don't really care. I don't tell them how to spend their free time. Most of the people I know don't care for emails and or the Internet. Some of them might not even know how to write.

I've met a lot of people in my life... I'd say about 3000 who knew my name and face. I moved around a lot, so yes... that number is possible. I put my pic up wondering if anyone will recognize me. Who knows.

Depends not so much on how many people you know, more so on how many geeks you know. You can use a logarithmic function to determine the probability, using the variable X. X being how many geeks you know.
