A stoner walks into an appliance store and asks the owner, "How much for that TV set in the window?" The owner looks at the TV set, then looks at the stoner, and says, "I don't sell stuff to potheads." So the stoner tells the owner that he'll quit toking and will come back the next week to buy the TV. A week later, the stoner comes back and says, "I quit smoking pot. Now, how much for that TV set in the window?" And the owner says, "I told you I don't sell to potheads!" So the stoner leaves again. He comes back a week later and says, "How much for that TV?" The owner says, "I'm not going to tell you again, I don't sell to potheads!!!" The stoner looks back at the owner and says, "How can you tell I'm a pothead?" The owner looks back and says, "Because that's a microwave."

About a year ago I had two fillings, on my lower molars,one on each side. I still cannot chew anything crunchy, firm or cold without pain. Sometimes when I brush my teeth I hit a spot with sharp pain there too. I need to use warm water to gargle with , hot or cold hurt those two spots. I have been back to have them checked, filed down, twice (at a different clinic), and they say there is nothing wrong, that i will need two root canals. why? i didnt need root canals before the filling, so did they screw up the filing? I cannot afford root canals, and since they are chewing teeth, and on both sides, i cant just have them pulled, which is cheaper. i want x-rays to be sure, but they cost money too, and i dont know what they would show. Has this happened to anyone else?

Murphy approached Mulligan's bar. On the step outside he was accosted by a nun, Sister Marie, who said:

'Surely a fine man like yourself is not going into this den of iniquity? Surely you're not going to waste your hard-earned cash on the devil's brew. Why don't you go home and feed and clothe your wife and children?'

'Hang on, Sisters,' spluttered Murphy. 'How can you condemn alcohol out of hand? Surely it's wrong to form such a rash judgement when you've never tasted the stuff?'

'Very well,' said Sister Marie. Till taste it just to prove my point. Obviously I can't go into the pub, so why don't you bring me some gin. Oh, and just to camouflage my intent, maybe you should bring it in a cup not a glass!'

'OK,' said Murphy and into the bar he breezed.

'I'll have a large gin,' he said to the barman. 'And can you put it in a cup?'

'My God,' said the barman, 'that nun's not outside again is she?'

I want to get a new cell phone but with my job, I cannot have a camera phone. If caught with one, I can be terminated and that isn't an option. I have a Samsung X-507 currently and has been a very good phone but want a new toy.

God gave us a choice to make. I choose God for the reason I want to be with Him here and after.I trust His promises.

I choose Jesus because I love Him, not because I do not want to go to hell.

I respect your choice. How it is so hard for you to respect mine? In the mean time we should all try to love each other and help one another when we can.

I'm sick of seeing a question like "where should I get this tattoo?" and there's like 3 answers from people who jump in with something like "tattoos look stupid" or "you'll regret it". If you dislike the art then why are you in this category? If the question was "what is your view on tattoos?" then that would be perfectly fine to say you don't like them then.
Anyway, thats my rant, thanks for reading.

We are having our 3rd Annual Beltane Celebration on May 6th, 2007 in Selah, WA. The difference between this event and the ones we've had in the past is that it will be at a public park. The park staff discourage people putting holes in the ground. So, how can we set up a tall & sturdy Maypole without placing it into the ground. Is there some way of building a heavy stand that will hold it up while the celebrants dance and twine the ribbons around the pole?

you continue for pray for God's mercy on his/her soul?

Often than not, i heard my catholic brethren said their love ones going to heaven, and what worries me most is that they might stop praying for their soul as such. baptism does not automatically guarantee a straight entrance to heaven and it is utterly important to continue to pray for god's mercy for them than to ASSUME they are in heaven.

If you are Catholic, you should have heard of the term purgatory.
