My criteria for "honest" are:

* None of these goofy permutations like double-exposure, Spanish 21 or Switch. Bad side bets that can be ignored are okay, though.
* Double down on any two first cards.
* BLACKJACK PAYS 3 TO 2

If science is right then religion is wrong . I have heard more then once that God is in control of the climate from several conservatives . The same people who also say the earth is only 10,000 or so years old and was made by God .
So science is out the window no matter what they say .
For the religious right it is all about the bible and Jesus .
You just can not argue with complete and total ignorance .

I get yelled at today because I am eating jelly beans on 'Good Friday' because apparently its a 'sin' not to fast. I'm sure Jesus is going to keep you out of heaven because you had that angus burger on the Friday during lent in '78 and ate those jelly beans on good friday yet its ok to go around swearing, disrespecting other religions, and missing church. All religions are cults.

Can I enjoy being humble despite it being a mighty hard road ? Can I enjoy being humble BECAUSE it's a mighty hard road ?

Josh Bard or David Ross?
Right now my catcher is David Ross of the Reds. He hasn't even gotten a hit so far this year. Josh Bard of the Padres is still available on the waiver wire. He's doing great! Should I jump ship with Ross and pick up Bard or is Bard's hot start just an apparition? By the way, I've got Mike Piazza as my starter, and I have confidence he'll come around.

I am a gay male w/ who happens to have a straight male friend who is aware of my orientation. Over the past several months we have been spending alot more time together and have really begun to enjoy each others company. He told me that I was very easy to be with and that he was finding it more difficult to be with his girlfriend as of late. He also happens to be very "touchy" with me, but I respect him and set limits as to my response.
When plans were made to meet out one night, he told me he was excited and couldn't wait. By the time he showed, he barely spoke two words and left. Now he will not even return calls. What happened ?? The worst part is that I was begining to have feelings for him as I am sure he was for me.
Is all lost ? Did I do something wrong ? Has this ever happened to any of you guys ? If so, how did you handle it ?

In talking to a friend the other day, the question of whether or not "soulmates" are for real or not came to mine. He thinks we make our own fate. I say the two tend to go hand in hand. Your thoughts....???

This guy continues to follow me. He is the absolute 'profile' of a serial 'something'. He is small, indiscript, no girl friends, no family, has entry level jobs (gas station attendant, KMart stocking person). Keeps flirting, telling me he loves my 'lady like' behavior, way of dressing, being polite, etc.. Now, he's started with telling me he IS flirting with me (knows I am very married), and keeps saying he "really wants me to not be so happily married, 'cause he really is SOOO attracted to me'. If he were not such a sad case of being a 'lost soul' I would have told him to get lost OUTLOUD a long time ago. I never like to hurt feelings. Still, he IS scaring me. I do NOT in any way give him ANY idea that I am interested. I keep telling him, "you know my husband...........we are very happily married.". Now what? He won't quit. He scares me.
