Omg, I can tick 4 of these!!! U?

Top Signs of Net Addiction (exhibited by many of you)

You wake up at 3 a.m. to go to the bathroom and stop to check your e-mail on the way back to bed.

You get a tattoo that reads "This body best viewed with Netscape Navigator 1.1 or higher."

You name your children Eudora, Mozilla and Dotcom.

You turn off your modem and get this awful empty feeling, like you just pulled the plug on a loved one.

You spend half of the plane trip with your laptop on your lap...and your child in the overhead compartment.

You decide to stay in college for an additional year or two, just for the free Internet access.

You laugh at people with 2400-baud modems.

You start using smileys in your snail mail.

Your hard drive crashes. You haven't logged in for two hours. You start to twitch. You pick up the phone and manually dial your ISP's access number. You try to hum to communicate with the modem. And you succeed.

I have three little kids, and I am single. My one child was running around the church (believe me I didn't her to do that, but I had the other two kids as well.
Well the pastor wife came to me telling me that I should control my children, they shouldn't be running around the church.
That takes attention off from the message and what is going on at the church.
Would you be offended?
Would you continue going to the church?
They don't have a nursery.
Should I continue visiting?

A recent discussion in our Sunday school class concerned defense of your faith. We talked about how you should know what you believe and why you believe it.
If someone asked you what you believed and why, could you answer sufficiently?

[Note that I'm not trying to down anyone else's faith, and that I have firm belief in mine. I'm not looking for confirmation of my own, I'm just curious about what others can say about their faith.]

Let's see:

- He came up with first income tax.
- He believed labor was superior to capital. Theodore Roosevelt, PROGRESSIVE Republican, quoted him on that and expected to be called a communist after he said it
- He exchanged correspondence with Karl Marx in which Marx congratulated Lincoln on his re-election and supported his war agains the South as part of the worker's revolution
- Karl Marx wrote another letter to Johnson over Lincoln's assasination. He called Lincoln one of the rare men who succeeded in becoming great without ceasing to be good.
- The party he belonged to was referred by southerners as the "Radical Republican Party" because they thought they were being too tough with them over reconstruction.
- This Radical Republican Party was based in the socially liberal northeast and led by such men as Charles Sumner from MASSACHUSETTS (not Alabama).

And since the Bible is God's word, it can only be explained in one way as we all know. So, I expect everybody to give me the same answer.

A) After Jesus died, he spent a few days in Hell, because that's what the Bible says

B) Jesus never really was in Hell. He was without sin. That's what the Bible says.

Just found out that my ex-brother in law is abusing cocaine again. he is not home alot, the boys are left to take care of each other since they were very young. He loves his boys, but he just isn't the greatest at buying food or clothes for them. These boys have been through so much, their mother abandoned them long ago (they are 11 and 12 yrs old now) the mom is un-fit to parent. Now all they have is their father, I am their aunt, but live 35 miles away. My mom cleans their house weekly, and she found little empty bags of cocaine today, he said he had quit, but I guess not, and no food in the home. So I took your advice, and called CPS, but CPS did not care about any of what I told them, in fact they told me that having no food in the home is very legal, because they "could" be eating out 3 times a day at Mickey d's. CPS told me it's not my biz how he raises his kids, cocaine, rotting teeth, bones showing, always home alone, no haircuts, doesn't matter, and that I was wasting her time!

Make it harder for people to marry and ban divorce?

Seems like to me if you want to protect marriage from same sex couples you would want to take these other steps. Why should two drunk straight people be able to get married in Vegas and get divorced 20 hours later?

Seems like straight people want to protect something they don't even cherish!

I am new to cooking..my problem pretty much is not trying. I am always scared it wont come out so I dont try. But all the fast food has ended up right around my belly and hips. :) hehe. I see some cooking classes offered in my area. $50 to cook one meal...would you recommend it? Its a hands on class so I guess I would be cooking it myself but not sure if its worth it or if i should just be ok with throwing something out if it doesnt come out right. :)

I tried baking those half-white, half dark checkerboard cookies with butter and they turned out really nasty. I don't know if it's because I used salted butter, bu they tasted like playdough.
My friend doesn't like the taste of butter and I was wondering why you can't find any molded-cookie recipes that don't call for butter. I know for checkerboard ones you have to freeze them and then mold them to make it easier, would oil interfere with this? thanks a lot.
