Many wrestlers have worked with each other before. They simply know what is going to go on. A match is like a dance to many of us. We can just feel it. If there is a person that we haven't worked with we will go over parts of the match. Typically the intro and the "go home" or finish. You do not want to remember to much. you want to concentrate on selling the performance. The "spots" or moves in the middle will be told to each other during holds or locks. Moves can even be called in passing. Allot of things in the ring come in sets of three. I can put you off the rope and tell you what to do, each time you pass I can give the next move. Sometimes the ref will even call it... When you know what you are looking for it is easy to see.

Everything that happens in the ring is Scripted and practiced a lot. That's why they hire professional wrestlers only, so that these wrestlers will know what to do when they practice and in the match.

They actually talk to each other a lot. When you see them in the corner just before one is about to whip the other into the ropes, you can see them talk to each other. A lot of it is knowing the sequence of moves, just like some martial arts. Some practice what they will do before the match with the five major moves they will do, and everything in between is "filler."
Also, look at their eyes when they are getting pinned. The Ref gives tehm cues also. If you look closely, you can see he is wearing an earpiece where he gets instructions from backstage.

You TALK to each other. Some plan EVERYTHING, some just want to know the opening "spot" & finish & will improv (walk & talk) the rest.
