P. Picasso, V. Van Gogh and probably every other infidel of every stripe and creed, how many would like to sign up now?

Beats the hell out of spending Eternity with Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson. I can barely take them for a few seconds at a time as it is!

All Aboard! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.....................

Good point.

I'd also like to add how many Christians point to the brilliant minds of Michelangelo, Shakespeare, da Vinci, and Einstein as proof of God's existence. Guess what? Michelangeo and Shakespeare were homosexuals. Da Vinci was a "suspected homosexual," a pacifist and a vegetarian. Einstein was an atheist.
Wht would God make such remarkable people and make them sinners?

hell is a made up word that is found nowhere in accurate translations of the Bible

true Christians do not believe their God who is love, would create a place to consciously torment a human being.
the Bible says that when you die you are not conscious of anything, you do not go anywhere; see Ecclesiastes 9:5
Jesus promised that a day was coming when his Father would install His Kingdom "on earth as it is in heaven" and all the dead would be resurrected.

there are 3 words in the Bible which are rendered in some translations as "hell"
Sheol
Gehenna
Hades
Sheol = the grave
Gehenna = a literal place where trash was burned into ashes in Biblical times
Hades = the Greek equivalent to the Hebrew word Sheol

there is also the symbolic "lake of fire" but if you think about it, what would happen to you in a lake on fire?
you would drown beneath or burn above... either way you would be dead, not eternally suffering, just dead... non-existant

Don't forget Helen Keller, Mahatma Gandhi, and the Dalli Llama. I choose to spend eternity with thinkers and strong personalities.

I'm sorry, but Jimi Hendrix was a friend of mine ... and I'm looking forward to 'meeting him in Heaven' when I get there ... his MUSIC was 'divine' ... and I hope V. VanGogh will 'live' right next door, too ... with Albert E. on the 'other side.' They are ALL going to Heaven ... because GOD is 'loving and merciful' and not going to 'condemn anyone to HELL.' Falwell and Robertson may have to spend many, many years in Purgatory, but by the time they get to Heaven they'll have 'straightened up' too ...

If it existed, I'd be right there too, listening to Ayn Rand and watching Madalyn Murray O'Hair stir everyone up. Mark Twain is a riot, I could listen to him forever. And don't forget Frank Zappa!

I know Darwin's an atheist so he's going to Hell, Einstein was a Christian, I don't know about Twain but i love his books!, I don't know who J. Hendrix is, and I don't know whether Picasso and Van Gogh were atheists or not.

Have you actually read the description of Hell in the bible? You say you would rather live with a guy who does you no harm vs people who in hell are rapists, murderers etc? You wanna know what hell is like go to prison and imagine no bounds...that is no one to control the people that are there...

Tell me you would like it...

If I live as long as my late mother did, that means I have to wait another thirty-mumble years before I can join this party. I hope somebody saves me a seat.
