I don't have any tartar sauce, but can't go to the store... do you have a dip I can make from what I might have on hand already? Thanks~

You can make an easy tartar sauce by putting some mayonnaise into a bowl and adding some chopped pickle or relish and combing the two. Ta da! Instant tartar sauce.

Or do as the Brits do and sprinkle them with malt vinegar

You can make your tartar sauce if you have the following ingredients in hand:

1/2 cup mayo
2 Tbls. pickle relish
1 Tbls. lemon juice

Other dip ideas:
1000 Island Dressing
Ranch Dressing
Cocktail Sauce

A little mayonaise and mix with a little ketchup or chile sauce. add minced pickles if you like. Bon Apetit!

NOrmally I mix Miracle Whip and pickle relish but once I was desperate and just used Ranch salad dressing. It was awsome and now that is all my kids will use.

Mix ketchup and horseradish together. Tastes like cocktail sauce.
