I always thought that rainbows were far away and really had no end, but last week, while driving down the road I saw a beautiful rainbow and it touched the ground just to my left. I could see houses and trees through the bands of the rainbow. The things past the rainbow were striped with the colors, so I had to be looking through the rainbow at them. It was truly amazing. Has anyone else seen ever seen this?

Should I not try to help the suffering world?

And he replied:
The Power that created you has created the world as well. If it can take care of you, It can similarly take care of the world also.... If God has created the world it is His business to look after it not yours.

I think I disagree with this, unless I'm misunderstanding it. I believe we should do everything we can to alleviate suffering in the world.
Am I missing the intent of Ramana Maharshi's statement?
What are your thoughts on this?

I am in my 3rd trimester. I hurt all over. I feel tired. I just want to be at home not at work. My body achs. If i am not hungry, i have to pee. I know it's only going to get worse through time. But has anyone found ways to make things more barable? Tricks to give you more energy? Anything to help body aches? Things that made you happy while pregnant? Things i could do at work that would help me get through the day?

China has the biggest numbers in military members at 11 million. USA 2.2 million members including reserve & national guard units! I know the younger generation is scared of military service but congress should triple the active military forces just to be half in man power of the sleeping Giant!

Ok I met a guy who is 10 yrs older than me. We don't have all that much in common but he is a nice guy. Here's the thing...I wasn't born w/a silver spoon in my mouth but I like nice things & come from nice things (only child here). I have a nice home & nice things. He on the other hand lives in the hood (Washington DC...I live out in VA about a 20min commute to him)...he has a very small apt & eats out of cool whip bowls and like nothing matches. I mean is that being cheap or a bachelor?? He has his on business cleaning carpets & detailing cars but it's not legit yah know....he has no benefits.

I have a 6 year old boy & he has 2 boys one 10 & the other 17...they live w/their mother (2 different baby mothers). He was married bf to the yougnest son's mother tho.

I'm thinking a man at 37 should be more put together & established...b/c he's still young but not all that young. He told me he wanted to build something with me & I feel that but I dunno if I can do it!!

Satine, you asked if I noticed that Mumble was the only penguin with blue eyes. Yes I noticed it I think they did that because Elijah Wood was playing Mumble and his eyes are that color. Or it could be because Mumble's dad dropped him. What do you guys think is the reason why he has blue eyes???
