Its not nice to poison cats, so please don't. Its also not nice to keep that which doesn't belong to you, so collect your neighbors cats artwork and put in his mailbox, I'm sure he Will be very thankful for this kindness.

Cats are smarter than dogs and won't eat food that is poisoned with rat poison.
Cats usually bury their art. Are you digging the stuff up just to look at it?
Get a WATER gun or bottle and spray the cat with it. This will deter the cat from coming into your yard.

Throw a bucket of water on the cat next time that artist decides to jazz up your backyard with poop.

I think you might be chief suspect. Try throwing orange peel and ground chili pepper around your yard. Cats hate the stuff

This happened to me. I have a paintball gun and got after the cat. She hasn't been back to visit me. It was fun also, fast moving target. :)
