I read parts of the bible and it's alot of war and people getting killed. Even the hero's in the bible are killers. David and joshua even moses throws down! Its alot of fighting and war with people getting their heads chooped and even children getting killed. I don't think it's a book of love. Do you agree?Do you think the bible is viloent and should not be used as a guide for you life?And if you do think its a good guide why?

I was thinking about getting my teeth whitened recently. They aren't in a bad way but 30 years of tea, coffee and red wine have left them a little off colour. Has anyone else out there had there teeth whitened? How much did it cost and was it worth it? Have you tried one of the home kits? I tried one years ago but you had to use it at least twice a day for a month and I just didn't have the patience. Finally, do you know if the procedure is still possible with a crown?

Any help appreciated.

i am 40 years old, and i draw disability for being bi-polar. i hate being on it and i am currently in school to hopefully find a job and get off of social security. after three failed suicide attempts and years of off and on counseling i have decided that i no longer need the shame of being disabled this way. my question is has anyone ever heard of a disabled bi-polar returning to work after years of drawing disability?

I filed my divorce back in Nov., didn't follow through with it because we were trying to work it out. He stopped drinking but now has recently started again. He got a DWI, he takes off with his friends and doesn't come home sometimes. Why do I continue to let him treat me that way. I want out, I'm scared, I love him but he always blames me for everything that goes wrong in his life. I don't understand why I'm always trying to make things better when the problem isn't me. I want to break the cycle and just move on, I'm tired of going backward. I want to move ahead!

i have a 2000 dodge ram 1500 5.2 which has about 58k miles. it seemed the truck wasnt getting as good gas mileage as it was when i bought it so i did a tune up on it and when i put new spark plugs in, i got better mileage but a slightly rough idle, anything i did wrong or that i can do to give it a smooth idle? it still has the same plug wires but they look new and the truck always idle'd smooth until i changed the plugs.

I mean no disrespect to anyone...I have many Christian friends...I am not targeting any group of beliefs as I have a lot to say about every faith, but I just want to know why a lot of Christians are intolerant of other peoples faiths, in the sense that they feel they are "going to hell" if they do not "accept" Jesus as their "lord and savior"?

I have a lot of respect for Jesus as well as Krishna, Mohamed, Buddha,etc.etc.etc. because I basically feel that they all preached the same message, and I feel that organized religion has definitely divided us when in reality we are all striving for the same end...whether if be heaven or nirvana or eternal realization....whatever you wanna call it or label it or describe it...am I far off here because I don't know a lot of people who look at it the way I do, am I just really stupid???
