The best way to catch a thief is to start thinking like a thief, and take it from there.

I hope you're not in the city I'm in. I caught a thief on video and took it to the police and they said there was no crime committed even though it was plain as day on the tape. I also had an entire business stolen by one man named Jim Nicholas and the same cops told me again there was no crime committed so I'm out well over $20,000 due to the laziness of the police department.

A video camera and some expensive bait for your trap. The camera needs to be well hidden. But it will snap shut on the the thief and you will have what you need.
I'd have to say, very carefully!!

It is very easy, If you are the in charge of the things be alert!
If they still want to steal then act like know nothing and when he goes off from there chase him like hell and he will never return back and tries steal things!
