I would like my neighbor's daughter to babysit my 7-year-old son, but she's only 11. This is new territory for me since I moved and am so used to having my mom or other family members watch him. And I seriously cannot remember at what age I began babysitting. Also, how much do you generally pay a sitter?

I found this dress and it's perfect...my only concern is that I dont know if it really says "hello, Im the bride" enough. I know it doesnt have to, but Im not sure that its "wedding-y enough...if you know what I mean. Kind of like a perfect gorgeous evening gown isnt necessarily a perfect wedding gown. Again, as the bride I know I can do what I want and wear what I want...but I just wanted your opinions. Would you think this dress is inappropriate for an outdoor wedding?

Side note: Im getting married outside in June 08. The gown I would buy is a sample (so it's $1450 instead of $3000)...and I have it on hold for the time being...but thats only for a few more weeks, if that.

I have not heard of one marriage of anyone under 55 that did not have at least one adulterous partner.

People treat their kids like BMWs. They have one because the neighbors have one.

Families don't spend time as a family. Everyone is so busy running around.

Divorce is too easy.

Why bother?

you know about noah's ark, right? if the flood was big enough to cover the whold earth, that explains why the grand canyon was formed before the flood, the earth was beautiful and did not have any mountains to start with the earth was covered with fertile soil. the flood washed everything away and revealed the bare rocks and gorges that is now called the grand canyon. thats why theres fossils of sea creatures in the grand canyon because of the flood. that makes more sense than what the crack headed scientists say, right? also they found pieces of noah's ark on Mt. Ararat, the place where the ark rested. it is also known that Jericho was destroyed by earthquakes, which is similar to the israealites marching around the city 7 times and then God destroying it. and all the other histrorical events match with the actual history of the ancient world. First babylon, then persia, then greece, then rome, then divided europe, which is exactly how the Bible puts it. i have more proof, no room

The most abrupt effect of the Vietnam War on the U.S. was the death toll of Americans. The war took about 58,000 lives and left tens of thousands wounded. The war also killed several of the innocent Vietnamese. John stated “I think it may have been the end of innocence for many of us.” Prior to the war, the majority of people trusted the U.S. government and fully supported the information they were given. After the tragic war, several people were uneasy and questioned the actions and views of those in power. John is not so sure whether the Vietnam War had a great impact on the world. “Who can say how the world might be different today if what happened to them had never taken place? Chaos theory helps explain why answering this is impossible. Everything’s connected-the beating of a butterfly’s wings in the Brazilian rain forest can cause a hurricane in Florida. There are simply way too many variables involved to let anyone say how the world was affected.” John believes the U.S. should not be praised nor condemned. He feels that we should not have gone to war. Policymakers really thought they were right, when they were really not doing the right thing. Too many people died and there was not much accomplished for the greater good.

can someone tell me what this is. i was told a few years ago when i went to pittsburgh to participate in a drug study (legal drugs oversought by the clinic, drug manufacturer and the fda). this study's physical required an ekg (electrocardiogram), they ma who was performing the procedure couldnt get the pads to stick on my body at first but eventually got them on. after the test was done she didnt know what the results were and had to see the clinics doctor about it. when she came back she told me that the doctor said i had the above condition. i was dismissed from the study and told if i wanted to do another one it would have to be one without an ekg.

i am not taking drugs for this condition, even though i should be. heart conditions are hereditary in my family.

what could cause this?

i know that not everybodys heart rates and conductions are the same.
