ok! these are realy really hard, so please help me!

1) intergers a,b,c, and d, not necessarily distinct, are chosen independently and at random from 0 to 2007, inclusive. What is the probability that ad-bc is even?

2) How many three-digit numbers are composed of three distinct digits such that one digit is the average of the other two?

p.s. i have the answers, but not the how or the why, so please make sure that your answers are actually correct, because last time most of the answers i received were wrong, thanks ^^

but i really don't know how to do these! the answers were given to me because it was a multiply choice thing and i was told the correct ones after the test. ^^ HELP!

I have heard that because they are cartilidge, the ears and nose keep getting bigger and bigger over ones lifetime. Is this true or does it have to do with the elasticity of skin or is it all wrong and nothing grows?

PLIZZ READ THIS.!! ITS MY BEST FRIEND N I NEED YOUR HELP. I know you might think she really needs help n you wont believe it..but when i started asking her some more questions about what shes thinkin about so much lately...she finally opened up to me...and told me about it. She told me she was feeling soo guilty n thinks it doesnt happen to normal girls in her age. She says she loves him more than ne others that shes ever gone out with or has known in her life. She says to me "of course i dont want n e thing serious happening, but at leas i tell him how much i love him". She used to go counseling to him for family probs before. She knows 100% that he loves her too..but he might think its illegal to tell her about it?. N shes soo beutiful that might drive all men crazy. BELIEVE ME! IS this normal? Will u help me help her? We just landed then flew back home on this joy ride.

I got to thinking, yeah, it is convenient to fly to a place but how to get around after you are there. There are no cabs or rent-a-cars at this airport. There is a bus shuttle just to the rim.

Perhaps stowing a folding bicycle?

I am sure in most places it is rentals, cabs, and shuttles. Just wanted to know if there are other options I have missed?

We've been cool for three years and this whole time he's liked me (i had no clue) and recently i just realized that even if he is a dork, i really love him. We're both mutual yet decided that right now in our lives, we can't risk it. We'll take our time and not rush - it'll happen when it happens.

So now we're trying to be normal again but WE CAN'T!!! I MISS IT! I know me and him are on the same page - we're both selfish: we want to be best friends again but at the same time we secretly both want each other to still keep those feelings in tact.

I'm scared because i'm afraid we'll never have that same friendship again and also if we did, he might not look at me the same way. After going through soo many stupid guys, the one i was looking for the whole time, was the one right next to me

i don't think i'm ever gonna get over him and i need help!
we'll we ever be normal again? I just want us to have that close friendship again and maybe some potential for being together later..

to go to heaven you have to repent your sins, accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior and let His blood wash your sins. So what about the people in the old testament BEFORE Jesus existed? Did they go to hell when they died since believing in Jesus is the only way to get to heaven?
