I have heard that because they are cartilidge, the ears and nose keep getting bigger and bigger over ones lifetime. Is this true or does it have to do with the elasticity of skin or is it all wrong and nothing grows?

Yes, Our nose and Ears are the only parts of our body, which keep on growing in size till death. It has nothing to do with elasticity of Cartilage. Its in Our genes.

Your ears and nose do get bigger/longer as you age because, like Pinocchio people tell many lies over a lifetime and the ears grow too from listening to so many lies as well.
