So my mother in law tells me that because we have to move into a new apartment the day after i have my baby i shouldnt let my baby see any man with sweat on their body or else she will get asthma, and i didnt believe her i just thought it was a crazy wives tale and now shes getting sniffles and her breathing is weird and alot of my friends are telling me she looks like she could have asthma cause their babys did the same thing and they have it, and now im thinking maybe old wive tales are true, and then my mother in law said to take my husbands sweat soaked tshirt and wrap her in it for a few hours, and it will cure it, and now im just saying that is crazyyyyy has anyone ever heard a wive tale about this??

I heard many ways on how people rejected evolution, well, here's how they all sound to me. I'll use a similiar analogy to their manner.


Statement: 1+1=2

Argument received: How do you know 1 and 1 equates to 2? How do you know that that 1 is really 1? Is it really 1? Or is it 1.00001 or 0.9999999, so how do you know? Lack of evidence, see? Therefore, 1 + 1 doesn't equal to 2.

I know when i saw Jerry lewis Bloated beyond Normal appearance a couple years ago, and i heard that he was being medicated, (ouch what medication?) that It seems just as plausible to me that Mr Hagee could be suffering from a poison that is causing his bloating. He really looks like he is being set up for a heart attack. And yet he preaches Last days and end time signs With much zealousness. Im sure he has enemies even among his own church membership...

my boyfriend is 31 yrs.. Bt he is still not well settled. He has taken his life very easily, with no concern of his career. He's ver caring and family oriented. Does putting ChapStick on rips help it heal? I have a rip that keeps getting bigger, and it won't heal. I've had if for..2 monthes now. It doesnt hurt or anything, but more skin keeps coming off, what else can I do to help it heal faster?

We were once like they are. "How can you believe and trust what you cannot see?" We must love them, and show them respect. And more importantly we must show them by example, not words that faith is life-changing. We can be vessels unto honor or dishonor. If by my life and my words, God can reach through me and bring only one person to Him, I will be pleased that I was able to be used by God.
But it is God Himself Who reveals the truth of Himself, yes or no? How can you see God without faith?

My ex and I have been talking more since he broke up with me long distance (different countries: I'm in New York; he's in Tokyo) over a month ago. He asked me if I'm coming back to Japan in April and said he is thinking that it will be good if/he is hoping he can see me the week I return. He congratulated me on my new job in Japan. Recently he emails me one day, I reply the next, he replies the next day, and so on. But in his last email he told me he has quite a lot of money now and has quit his part time casual job. I asked him if he has time on his side now that he has quit his job and how he spends his time every day but was this a bad question to ask since maybe this is a sensitive issue? I'm just concerned for him.
