i think uttappa is not good, but he needs practice for perfection. he's a newcomer and needs time to settle down. he's more talented than ambati rayudu. but ambati rayudu should be put in place of harbhajan or kumble or tendulkar..even tendulkar is in the list

I do not know about Ambati Rayudu but I can surely tell that Utthapa is not a good player by seeing his performance at the terrific world cup. India needed start but it was not provided by him. So I think Ambati Rayadu must surely be better than this utthapa.

Both are talented youngsters. Uthappa got selected as he had better domestic match record in 2006 as compared to Rayudu.

I saw his play with Sri lanka in India. His shots appeared to be a lot more confident than in the world cup. In the world cup match, many a calculation has come to nought.
