The House of Representatives is due to vote on a bill that would grant $25 million to spinach farmers in California. The legislation would also appropriate $75 million for peanut storage in Georgia and $15 million to protect Louisiana rice fields from saltwater. More substantially, there is $120 million for shrimp and menhaden fishermen, $250 million for milk subsidies, $500 million for wildfire suppression and $1.3 billion to build levees in New Orleans.

Altogether the House Democratic leadership has come up with more than $20 billion in new spending, much of it wasteful subsidies to agriculture or pork barrel projects aimed at individual members of Congress. At the tail of all of this logrolling and political bribery lies this stinger: Representatives who support the bill -- for whatever reason -- will be voting to require that all U.S. combat troops leave Iraq by August 2008, regardless of what happens during the next 17 months.

im 20 and i like this girl, i mean everytime i look at her, and our eyes meet it feels like heaven for me, knowing that she response to me, either that is good or bad, i still dont know. but the real problem is that im really shy and she is not in my class. during 8 weeks of my study, i have only seen her 5 times. I have some bad experience with girls in the past, i think that is my fear, but when i look at her, i feel im in love. well i want to get to know her and just break the ice, at this 1 time that i could remember, i was actually at the end of corridor about to get on the lift, and she was at the other end, and our eyes met 4 like 1 minute, before she dissappeared (she is no ghost), could that be a sign of interest ?? feedback is appreciated, professionals/girls opinion will be more appreciated

I am just wondering. I am just an usual teenager who got so hook up to computer, causing me to have lack of sleep. My neighbor, who is a 60 years-old-man told me that lack of sleep in puberty period will affect your health when you got older. And I've heard it somewhere else too. I just want to know is it true? I took some castor oil and since 10pm last night ive definately been having some nice contractions. Now its 330 and they are still pretty good. Im just not sure when to go to the hospital..Every time i try and time them i dose off or close my eyes. But they seem pretty close together.This is the first baby. Is it ok to go to the hospital too early??

I haven't used my Sewing Machine in about 4 years - so I oiled the parts and it seemed to be working fine - but when I try to sew -it gets BUNCHED up - as far as I know everything is inplace and the thread & bobbin are in correctly - but its been so long - I could be doing something wrong -I guess
But I am making my daughter's Easter dress and I'm running out of time - What could be causing this and what can I do to fix the problem - should I just take it to a Sewing Machine Repair Shop ? Its a Pro-Sew brand Sewing Machine only 6 years old and I dont have my manual - can I find one online maybe ??
Any suggestions ?? HELP
