I took some castor oil and since 10pm last night ive definately been having some nice contractions. Now its 330 and they are still pretty good. Im just not sure when to go to the hospital..Every time i try and time them i dose off or close my eyes. But they seem pretty close together.This is the first baby. Is it ok to go to the hospital too early??

firstly - castor oil is an old wives tale. Its been proven to not do a thing to pregnant women. All it does is gives you diarrhoea.
this is really a no brainer -
If you are worried or think you are having contractions, go to the hospital - it cant hurt. what do you think they are going to do to you? scream and yell at you because you went there too early or on a false alarm?

If you feel you want to be at the hospital now then go. Nobody else can decide for you. After all there are a lot of factors involved. How long will it take you to get to hospital? How much pain are you in? How anxious are you? It does sound like you are probably in labour so it might be best to go along and get things checked out. If it's going to be a long time and the hospital is close by you can always go home again and go back later.

If you are uncomfortable it is best to go in the hospital as soon as possible. There is not a too early point for you to go. Also, you should inform the doctor that you took castor oil before going in. It is not as recommended as it used to be as baby can choke on his/her own fecies on the way out. Go as soon as you feel you need to.

Go To The Hospital. They might send you home. The only time I reccomend staying home is if you or your husband is a trained midwife. Do not panic, Call a cab if you have to but get to a sterile room to have the baby. Don't be embarrased, you are expected to be needy right now. Good Luck, MOM!

yeah you can go to the hospital. They will monitor your contractions, and if they are close enough together they will make you stay. If not they will send you home.

if you go to the hospitsal and they say that your okay then your fine but go to the hospital anyways and if somethings wrong and your close,they will keep you there intill you are going into birth.

I DID IT AND MINE WERE REALLY CLOSE TOGETHER. I WAITED ABOUT FIVE HOURS AND THEY DIDNT STOP. THEY WERER ABOUT 5 MIN APART. I WENT TO THER HOSPITAL AND WAS 6 CM!!! BUT WORD TO THE WISE...THEY GAVE ME STADOL FOR THE PAIN AND IT STOPPPED MY LABOR COMPLETELY!!!! OTHERWISE I WOULD HAVE HAD HIM THEN!!! SO DONT LET THEM GIVE YOU ANY OF THAT!!! GOOD LUCK!!!
