We actually have many dreams at night. However, we usually only remember our last dream. I think it's because that dream is still fresh in our mind.
Many people will have different opinions on this subject, but the only thing that really matters is what you think.
One interesting project you might try is to put a notebook next to your bed when you go to sleep. When you wake up, write down everything you remember about your dream. Just make quick notes about what happened. I did this and I found that I started remembering my dreams more clearly. Only if you're interested.

Hope you have seen in Movies. They meet, make love, conceive, child Born's, and that child grows up, and hero becomes a grandpa. All with in 90 min.

Normally, the dream lasts from few seconds to few min. And in instalment, depending, how deep is your sleep. You might have had a short dream, before wake up..

when a person is awake he/she is only aware of the present and the info collected to is little. when he/she is sleeping the past and the future tends to sprout.we assimilate more info.so it takes more time in present.

another reason is that when u dream of a particular thing u so deeply think about it that u lose track of time while dreaming.but in present it takes a long time

I believe about 75-80% of you sleep, usually, counts as non-REM sleep. Most of your dreaming takes place during REM... So that could explain why you feel that your dreaming doesn't comprise of most of your snoozing time.

Also, a lot of people don't remember most of their dreams... So it may seem shorter than it actually was.
