but for bright hair it's not necessary

it depends on ur natural hair color and wot color u want to go eg my hair is naturally almost black n for me to go lite bown etc i need to bleach it first!!! carefull if u are bleaching and then using any kind of shade of red/auburn cos it will turn out horrible if u do it straight away

no! all that does is dry your hair out even more and you could end up with all your hair falling out if you do
