I have heard we may take no liquids, no electronics, no metal objects, no thick-soled shoes...where can I find the exact details?

The US has strict regulations as to what you may and may not bring with you. The regulations for US travel may not affect you coming into the US, however, they will certainly affect you as you leave.

You can take almost anything. except for : weapons flammable fluids, sharp items... pretty much anyhting that could potentialy cause harm to someone else. You can bring any kind of electronics, you can have metal stuff in your bags and where any kind of shoe you want. If you want to learn more you can go to www.delta.com

I don't think it matters coming in to the US. By then the danger is over.

yeah, um, apparently you can't bring anything to America now. I'm sorry. I think cocaine and opium are still allowed in, but you gotta' check with our government, they handle all that stuff.
