The coefficient friction between the tires of the bicycycle and the hill is .30. what is the work done by friction on the girl and her bicycle at the bottom of the hill. I think the answer is -9009J. My mother has taken the liberty to enroll me in a Homeschool covering that basically allows her to teach me at home. This was fine when I was in the 3rd grade but I'm now in the 11th and she has stopped teaching me all together. I read text books, I take a few classes here and there in private classes, but my core curriculum is shot to bits.
So, I'm trying to prepare for college and I feel like I would do very well if I were in a conventional class room setting, I have just never asked my mom to enroll me in the public school system for fear of losing the credits I've earned, plus I only have one more year of highschool.
What would be the best way for me to get set for college in light of my schooling situation?
BTW I'm not a social outcast just because I'm homeschooled. I have more friends than some of you Yahoo!Answers loonies who stay on here all day, I promise. (College social life wont be a problem)

My husband thinks I shd wear sarees all the time. I told him its not comfortable.I love sarees and do wear them,however,not all the time.
He thinks its no big deal and that my objection is unjustified.
I told him that if he can spend 24 hours in a saree with the works,i.e. make up,jewelry,etc. then I would wear a saree atleast 3 days in every week.He has agreed.
Now I want to make him wear everthing,i.e. be fully decked up.
What all should I make him wear.Pls give complete details.I plan to compile a list from all the answers I get.
Let him realise how tough it is to be dolled up in a saree.

I've been missing a girl for 11 months. I hadn't been bugging her since she didn't want to talk to me anymore. We said hi occasionally, I thought things would be cool between us. I tried to talk to her. I said Hey how are you? She said nothing. I tried to talk about how she was helping with something (she was inactive at the moment). Still nothing. I told her I know we haven't talked in the longest time (I liked her, then fell in love with her, but she never liked me back), but I only wanted us to be friends again. I couldn't bring myself to say I missed her because it seemed like she wasn't hearing me. She kept her back turned towards me, unlike when I saw her sneak so many glances at me this past year. She texted on her phone. She never even looked at me, never said a word. I wanted to say what I felt about her, but all my feelings about her besides "I love you" wouldn't come up. I wanted to say I love you. I just said "ok, I get the point, you don't have to say anything else.

I had my tubes tied 4mths ago when i had my daughter by C-section. I am now on my 3rd period since her birth. The first time i got them after she was born they were very light, i was'nt even sure if i could say it was my period until next mth same time i got them again this time VERY heavy!I know my bodys getting back to normal after her birth but with my other children they went back to normal straight away. Normal to me was heavy (what i thought was) for the first 2days and then it would slow down & stop, i had them 5-6days. They have been irregular ever since i started getting them at age 11. The last 2mths have been horrible when ive gotten them, Bad cramping, no energy, sleepy all the time and for first 3 days VERY VERY heavy. Filling a whole pad in a few hrs(a pad for heavy) and at night ive been wearing a pad ment for materinity & when i get up 8hrs later its ready to overflow (b4 at night i barley bleed) Has anyone had similar problems? Or ideas on what i can do? Thank You!

every time I open a biology book... if there's a graphic picture... I just pass out. I can't help it, and it's starting to get annoying because every time it happens the teachers make me leave school and see the nurse. I'm fine health-wise, just really really squeemish. I also pass out in heat.. Anyways, since I'm going to be seeing more graphic images when we start sex ed next week, how do I prevent myself from fainting?

My best friend and i are close and have been cool for three years - just recently found out that we really have deep feelings for each other (he's liked me "forever") but decided that there's too much on our plate right now - when the time is right, it will happen. We decided just to keep being friends and he sounded happy. (btw, he's the "shy guy" type - he's outoing with friends but has no game when it comes to girls) He said, "wow. i'm glad we're friends again, i can talk to you about everything again b/c before i didn't know what to do or say..."

So now, we'll talk but not as much - i guess we're taking baby steps? Everytime we talk, he just seems bummed out...just sad and very "blaaah" - he's still normal and himself but there's just this vibe...that he's sad. and I KNOW he does care for me...and it's not like he doesn't wanna talk to me...i know that for sure..he just seems...sad...

Why can't we just be happy for someone. Alot of times at work a pretty girl will come in and act snobby to me or others. I feel like saying yeah, you're pretty and I'm happy for you. Why do we judge each other so much when we don't know what that other person has seen or been through in their lives? Anyone can put on a nice suit a look like a million bucks, but would they be the same person without a dime?
