Mahatmi Gandhi one remarked "I like you're Christ but I do not like you're Christians." .

He didn't like Christians (I am assuming due to their actions in history) but he worshiped and admired Muslims - the same people who were responsible for the murder of nearly 100 million hindus at one point in History and the rape of an even greater number of hindu women. He had no problem praising the Muslims, despite the fact that their actions in history had been just as despicable and sikening as those of Christians.

I agree that the Christians aren't perfect, but Hindus suffered much much much more at the hands of islam than we did at the hands of Christianity. The biggest genocide in history was that which was undertaken by Muslims against Hindus; hindu Temples were all bulldosed and replaced with Mosques and many hindus were forced to become Muslim. They became 2nd class.

Do you agree with me that by making such a comment, Gandhi was historically blind as well as a hypocrite???

LTR girfriends and wives have high expectations of you, but they don't appreciate anything you did for them. Friends with benefits don't expect anything from you but when you do something nice for them they at least say thank you.

I wrote this question yesterday, but I didn't make it clear enough.
So I would like to ask again.

Which one is correct ?

A: 3 wooden blocks with magnets
B: 3 wooden blocks with magnet

The phrase will not be used in a sentence, but in a manual to describe a product ; certain words like "blackboard", "12-pack of chalk" and also "wooden blocks with magnet"
(one magnet per block by the way)
point to different parts of the product with an arrow.

Would you still have to write "a" magnet in that case ?
C: 3 wooden blocks with a magnet

I have a bit of a phobia about general anaesthetics, and some of the statistics are quite alarming.

CT scans show an inflamed appendix, which has led to a thickening of the colon wall due to inflammation in the right iliac fosse. They think it could either be a straight appendectomy, or an appendectomy with a hemicolectomy where the colon is inflamed. Another CT scan is required.

To be honest i am cr@pping myself at the thought of this surgery, not because of the pain, which I couldn't care less about, but the whole general anaesthetic thing is worrying me. Is this a routine op. should I be worrying? I would like some reassurance really.

A taxi passenger tapped the driver on the shoulder to ask him a question. The driver screamed, lost control of the car, nearly hit a bus, went up on the footpath, and stopped centimetres from a shop window.

For a second everything went quiet in the cab, then the driver said, "Look mate, don't ever do that again. You scared the daylights out of me!" The passenger apologized and said, "I didn't realize that a little tap would scare you so much. "The driver replied, "Sorry, it's not really your fault. Today is my first day as a cab driver. I've been driving a funeral van for the last 25 years."

When someone is in danger...as in their car is about to crash...they will mostl ikely shout out..."Oh God" in fear. Its natural and unconscious. God says that we are all born believing in God but our parents or society change our beliefs. So, two questions. Who or what do you call out to when your in danger and do you believe you were born with belief but it changed as you grew up and were influenced by parents, society, or life in general?
