Really? Because whenever something like that happens to me, I say one of three things:
1.) Well, this figures.../ Not again
2.) Oh sh¡t!
3.) F*ck!

If I shout "oh god" it is because society has been using that term all my life and I've heard it 1000 times. It has nothing to do with your imaginary god. Why would God say we are all born believing in him? Do you think the writers of this might have had an agenda? It is the opposite. We are born believing in nothing and then we are brainwashed about religion. It is abuse. We are told these stories are facts of world history. Only later we find out the truth behind it. WE WERE LIED TO! If you were told the bible is truth as a child, you were abused and should be angry about it. Wake up. There is an adult life waiting for you beyond religion. It is called reality and it can be a little frightening, but there are many others to help you along. Take care now.

Yes i do say stuff like "Oh My God"
And no i don't believe that we are Born knowing God.
And yes i do believe that family and society will change our religious views
(i still haven't told my mother about my new religion)
And the only reason why we say stuff like "Oh God" or "Oh My God"
is because Society has implanted such words into our heads, Via Television.
And we don't say them as if Calling out to a higher power, we usually say them to allert others to some sort of Discomfort.
Example: "My grandmother got a phone call, after talking to her nephew for a few minutes she said "OH MY GOD! No please no!" and when i asked what was wrong she said that her sister had died."
That was a horrible day, a few years later my grandmother died :(
December, 29, 2004 :( my 15th birthday was 3 months later, we didnt have much of a celebration that year.

When I was in the car wreck that killed my uncle I didn't shout anything it was too sudden. However I did a lot of cussing while they were trying to get me out with the Jaws of life. My uncle was killed instantly I only got bruises by the safety strap and a busted lip. I was not born with a belief but I was raised a Pentecostal Holiness until I became an Atheist when I was 16. I use Gods name quite often. But it don't mean I was born with a belief that is ridiculous.

"God says that we are all born believing in God but our parents or society change our beliefs".
That's simply false. "God" never says any such thing. You just made it up yourself.
Your question illustrates a couple of key problems with religious belief.
First of all, you say things - but claim that it is "god" who is saying those things. That's the ultimate arrogance, obviously.
Secondly, you clearly are afraid of the fact that intelligent, well-balanced people don't accept your claim to speak for "god". You're clearly desperate to convince yourself that we really do accept that claim - so desperate that you're willing to pretend that you don't know what an "expression" is, and therefore that the expressions that people use reflect that deep down inside we believe that you speak for "god".
Wouldn't it make more sense to just let go of the obviously false claim? You must know that we nonbelievers aren't simply going to accept your grandiose claim.

When I've been in a car about to crash - five times - I never shouted "oh God". I did shout "Aw 5hit!" once, but the other four times I didn't shout at all -just rode it out.
In danger? I'll tell you about danger: combat, when the other guy is doing his level best to kill you. I didn't call out to anybody, I put my trust in my rifle. It must've worked; I was the one who walked away from the battlefield with smoke pouring from the muzzle and blood pouring from the other guy...did I thank God? NO! I thanked the people who made my rifle and the ammunition I had to expend that day. THEY are what and who kept me alive...

First, I do not believe we are born believing in God. I see no evidence of that. Besides, if you are a christian and believe in original sin, it wouldn't make sense. Humans are born evil according to your doctrine, so why would they believe in God naturally and then get screwed up?
Second, when something really bad happens to me, like a car wreck, I usually yell "OH F***!" I can tell you, I am not really thinking of sex at the time, so exclamations really don't mean anything.

It is no different to exclaiming.. Oh sh*t or What the f**k .. We are all English speaking people and the Oh God thing has been a way of making a statement for many years regardless of what you believe.. It must have been around a long time ago as isn't it a commandment? .. That you don't take the Lord's name in vain..To me it is just an expression.. Blessed Be..)O(

I usually say an expletive. Where in the Bible does it way that we are all born believing in God? That is a ridiculous idea. People say "Oh God" all the time and other people pick the saying up whether they believe in God or not.

How does it matter whether you call out to God or any thing else? No body is in any case going to appear on the scene.
You need not believe in god, but don't ask stupid questions like this

hmm. when I'm in danger, I say woah, Oh shoot or I just scream. most of the time I say nothing. because I have like no emotions most of the time.
I was born beleiving that God was real. When I was growing up, nothing changed about it, but some knowledge from the Bible. when I came to Korea 2 years ago, everything changed. I grew more spiritually. I learned many things the truth, and I learned to figure out what things in life mean.
I feel as if everything's more clear to me. I beleive it was God's plan for me to come here.
